NEW policy! NO LIT for EX-JWs!
by MinisterAmos init's official; they read the letter tonight that puts forth the new procedure.
if you find an expelled person in the field or are studying with one, you are no longer permitted to give them lit.
presumably the elders make a decision if an expelled one is regularly attending meetings, but only they can give them lit.

I think it also gives the message to the R&F that the literature is special/sacred and only THEY are priveledged (thus 'warning' them not to leave) - lol.

Just Married!
by KW13 inwell me and megan are all married now.. we had an amazing day, the weather was perfect and of course the baby was there in a way (inside its ma').
mum unfortunately missed it because she was in hospital from thursday, so next year were renewing vows to give her the opportunity to see something similar to what we did yesterday.. thanks for your support here everyone, love karl (and megan).. .

Do You Think The Leaders Of The Watchtower Truly Believe What They Say?
by minimus indoes the governing body and its helpers really believe what they teach?
there's so much emphasis on the great tribulation, once again, i wonder if they believe that the end is soooooo close.
i know some of the "faithful" believe everything hook, line and sinker.

So sick to death of the whole 'find Maddie' campaign - now includes Pope
by needproof ini am sure most of you are now aware of the missing british girl madeleine mccann, who was abducted from portugal a few weeks ago.
the media is making a massive thing about this, and i am just wondering why.
they say 70,000 kids go missing each year in the uk alone - but this case seems to be unique in that it is so widely reported.

The family, in my opinion, need to keep their mouths shut - they're not doing themselves any favours. A few weeks ago, in the Daily Mail (British newspaper), the grandmother was quoted as saying that the parents don't drink much - after all, they ARE doctors!! She also said that the parents didn't leave the children alone OFTEN, and it's something we've all done at some time!!

Had to do it..this is to all the moms..
by Heather intell us storys of all the fun exciting stuff that your kids did when your back was turned.. my most recent finding was yesterday.
i took a shower while my kids were playing(thats what i though) in their room.
after i dressed i went downstairs to notice shinny little footprints all over the new wood floors...hmmmm curious....i follow them......and saw that my 2 year old had found a can of pam cooking spray and was trying to shine up the wood floor with it.

Thta's nothing - my lad ATE the contents of his - gawd - did his breath smell? I called the doctor, and he said it was ok - and I said - so why bother washing our hands after going to bathroom if we can EAT it?

Desperate and unable to forget
by Shadowland inam a newbie here so please excuse any lack of decorum, just need to vent to people that understand.. a quick rundown: dad was an elder since i was about 3, and from the time i was 5 i wondered why he was so nice to everyone else and an arsehole to his family.
dad remained an elder until 'deposed' when i was 13, after which my 17 yr old sister 'lost faith' (although, knowing her, it happened a lot sooner).
sis left home, i got seriously depressed and tried to kill myself, after which nothing was ever the same with either my family or the 'truth' (the 'lie' is more like it).
