my sisters came home yesterday and said someone was following them home from school, they got very scared and ran the rest of the way home.
they also told me that these two men had also followed one of their friends home a few days ago.
should i call the school and report it or should i call the police station?
I would listen to them. Contact the police and the school. How would you feel if something did happen to a child--any child? Better to be safe than sorry! I think I'd still walk with them. It would make them feel better.
That would also reinforce to the kids that adults do listen to them and take them seriously. Evidently something happened that made these girls feel uncomfortable.

Personally, I think repentenance is over-rated. But then I still get flashbacks from Bible-thumping elders that had their own skeletons.

i've had this phobia of blood and needles ever since i was given the anti-blood programming.. anyone else have his phobia as well?.
i'm wondering if i'm the only person to have this fear.
I got used to playing in it on a daily basis, and eat lunch in between. Working the ER and ICU does that to a person!!
But no one ever did call the the most balanced person, either!! ha ha

i saw something very disturbing this morning.
i parked my car in the downtown dallas area and in the parking lot across the street i see a grey ford mustang.... with a fake redhead woman sitting in the passenger seat.
it was painfully obvious that this guy was using "her" so he could drive in the hov lane.
Elsewhere-
When I worked at Methodist hospital in Dallas and RHD there were all kinds of "fake" people-- I saw blowup dolls, toddler "dolls" in car seats, manequins. Once on I-35 in Lewisville a cop was trying to hang onto 3 blowup dolls and keep from laughing during rush hour. I saw him a couple days later in the ER. He said the car owner thought it would look "less" suspicious with several non-people in the car!!! All so the HOV lane could be used. I don't know how many times I flew down it by myself. I'd get ssoooo frustrated, I didn't give a rats ass if I got a ticket or not.

i watched it last night..... ya know.......... it took place over 1000 yrs after christ, and here we are 1000 yrs later... all the centuries of faith and dying "for god" or in the name "of god" whichever religion you may be and we're supposed to believe that jesus is coming again?

We all the elder's version of "help". I'm just sorry we couldn't have had a good ole' weiny/marshmellow roast. Would have made a hell of a bonfire for a keg party!!

a few years ago, a watchtower article discussed the issue of jws who are employed in the health care domain and who, during the course of their legitimate employment duties, have access to private and potentially incriminating information on other jws.
i think the article used as an example confidential information on an unmarried witness's file that documents she has had an abortion.
The new HIPPA regulations take breaching confidentiality even more serious nowadays. Losing your job is just the beginning. The physician himself would be looked at, along with his business- that includes any type of medical license that anyone involved with the breach may hold. If HIPPA wanted to, they can come in and shut an office down. They can, and have fined UNBELIEVABLE amounts of money. I know nurses that have lost their licenses.
I used to help do HIPPA seminars when they first invaded the medical field. They really mean business. I'd be real curious to see something happen, and HIPPA get ahold of elders. I'm going to have to do a little reading and see where they may fall. I do know that they would be liable-- one way or another!
