Ahhh, a Brownie fan. BD of course, I have to hate you now. LOL. Is there any better rivalry in sports beyond Steelers/Browns? You and I will have much to discuss in the coming months. You come to the 'Burgh for a Sunday night game on November 13th, pretty late in the season. We come to Cleveland (the Mistake By The Lake) on Christmas Eve.
Who will take the AFCN this year? A lot of "experts" are going with the Ravens.
I've never been to the Hall Of Fame. Will you be there for the inductions as well? Marino and Young. Awesome

BD, I was waiting for someone to start a thread on the coming season.
You are close to Canton? So, Browns or Bengals?
Personally, I live and breathe Pittsburgh Steeler ball. After a 16-2 season, I'm anxiously waiting for the season to start. We open camp on Sunday. I haven't missed a game in 15 years. -

Superstitious JW Nonsense
by 95stormfront inone of my jw relatives was relating to me another one of their superstitious nonsense stories designed to demonize every damn thing that doesn't fall into an approved wt list.
she was telling me about a her friend, who upon cleaning a relatives house, found a voodoo doll with a prayer to demons written on paper that it took an hour to burn.
she also related to me how in the hour it took to burn the demon paper prayer, everyone around them getting sick and falling into convulsions.. i guess she was a little perturbed that i was .

I've been out of the Borg for so long, I have forgotten a lot of the craziness. One thing I love about this board is the reminders I get of the sheer lunacy of the DUmB lifestyle.
Tetra, sometimes you say the exact right thing -

Congrats Kathy. It seems so anti-climatic. I guess I'll roll over and go to sleep. With a smile on my face, of course

Jehovah made the right call, Richie. The taxpayers couldn't afford the extra fuel to get you into orbit.

Kathy, your family has a long and distinguished history as space explorers.
From http://www.spacetoday.org/Astronauts/Animals:
"The very first primates ever fired to an altitude near space were the monkeys Albert 1 and Albert 2. They died in 1949 in the nose cones of captured German V-2 rockets during U.S. launch tests.
The V-2 rockets carried Air Force Aero Medical Laboratory monkeys named Albert I, II, III, and IV high in the atmosphere to see how they might withstand space conditions. All of the monkeys survived the upward trip, but were killed when parachutes failed to open and the nose cones impacted the ground."

Allow myself to introduce....myself
by pele38 ini must say, i never thought that i would see the day when i would find a site about disillusioned (mostly) jehovah's witnesses, but low and behold...one truly exists.
first let me start off by saying thank you to the creators of this site, and i'll have you know that i've been lurking for several days now and i am just finding the time to finally log on.
i've been a member of the borg for over 20 years now, been baptised for about 14 of those years and now i find myself in the most unusual of places.
