That, plus their legal department shutting down the Quotes internet site yesterday (see other thread), and the rank and file will have no way to learn about the growing pains of the organization (in their own words) that they've dedicated their lives to.

Not an elder anymore?

Only that I found this dumb graphic from my library and played around in PS Pro and stumbled on how to distort it. Twelve years ago after bypass surgery I took the dieting serious -- little fat and all -- and someone from work called me a FAT freak. So I put the two words together, misspelled freak and it gives me a handle that's easy to Google my own stuff ever since.

if that is true why don't we see the society's published numbers on the decline?
my next question is, heaven forbid, you don't suppose they're inflating the membership numbers do you?

This has been the most revealing set of experiences to JW behavior I've seen since I've been briefly on this forum. Yes, I've been away from the JW's, an ex-elder with all the perks, for some 28 years but only had a glimpse of the lack of enthusiasm that is recently displayed by folks engaging in a work they profess to love. There's not a smidgen of doubt that inflating numbers here at the bottom proceeds right on to the top.
Or is it the other way around? Hmmm ... !

really need to look at their stats on an Annual basis, going back over a number of consecutive years. The more decades I have to look at, the more significant the resutls.
Anyone out there with CD-Rom access to the yearbooks over a period of years, something where you can simply copy and paste for Rod?

Let me know if it is a copy or similar. I wondered if the company is still in business. Google hits indicate they are still there. I wonder if JW's run the business, if they're (still) using the graphic to tell other JW's, "here we are, your brothers, do business with us". Just curious.
