Yes, I noticed that too. I have yet to receive an intelligent response from an active JW. All I ever get is that I should just accept whatever teaching they are presenting at the moment and not think about it.

Best JW tall story/variations of it?
by KW13 indont just list one, list them all so we can laugh because in all honesty i can't believe we believed some of them.
for example, i was told annie lennox stopped a concert to ask if there was any jw's in the audience, and if there was could they leave as they were stopping the demons getting through...is this even remotely true?
did annie lennox ask the jw's in the audience to move because they were stopping the snack lady getting through...and it got twisted through chinese whispers.... the other day (i felt sick) one witness was banging on about how amazing it was that the watchtower society's building was the only one standing still...wtf...my stepdad responded with a 'wow thats amazing' and the first brother was like 'yeah i know'...grrrrrrrrr aaaaaaaah screaaaaaaaaam .

A "sister" told me she went to a Jacksons concert at Texas stadium in 1984 and when Michael sang "She's out of my life", she say an angel sitting next to him.

The worst lonliness for me is that no one close to me really understand the frustrations of being an ex-witness. I feel so bad for taking my biological family (non-witness) family through all the mess I did. What a waste of ten years!!!! I often feel so dumb for believeing what I did. When I explain it to non-witnesses, they often laugh or roll their eyes, which I understand, but it's still hard at times.

I also hated the fact that you could clap when someone gave their first talk in the ministry school, but never after that. That was so stupid!!!!

Stop publishing this stuff Terry! Everytime I read material like this, it reminds me of my period of brain inactivity when I accepted this junk as true.

Like Whitedove, I never bought in to the birthday rule. I also did not accept the blood transfusion logic or the Michael the Archangel is Jesus.

Besides the "Rock me Amadaes" experience I posted a while back, there was anothe incident involving me and the sound board. I was working the sound board during the public talk on Sunday and it was a very boring speech. One of those greater Noahs and greater Abraham speeches. Almost at the end of the talk, I pressed a button in the upper left part of the board and the very loud electronic tone blasted through the hall. I quickly turned it off and everyone in the hall turned to look at me. The one giving the talk commented "I think brother Reed is trying to tell me that I have gone overtime."

Welcome to JWD Nick,
Just remember to take it slow as the process of trying to figure out what is and what is not takes time. When I jumped the Watchtower ship 16 years ago, it was after a long period of research and meditation. Just remember to keep an open mind as you read the accounts of others and feel free to ask questions.
