  I don't know any of you at all, I don't know your beliefs, how scared you are from being a JW but I read some of your comments and i can't believe it. who are we to say what GOD does is right or wrong. If a person does not believe in GOD I suppose it is easy but if a person does at all......I don't even know what to say. Does everyone who posted think Hitler wasen't so bad? Pure evil is never good. Not that i am any better than anyone else here, but I do believe in GOD and whatever he says goes.

  i'm d/f for about 2 years and my dad ( an elder ) hasn't spoke with me since, my mom sometimes talk to me , but i always have to call her , just to see how's she's doing, and guess what, when she answer her phone is : oh, i was preeching!!!.

  they're always preeching, but my brother contact me today telling me that we can speak again due to the fact that i'm d/f , what do you guys think?

  Sorry I have not read any of the other posts far far too many so if i am rehashing on somthing I am sorry.

  Anyhoo i don't think they are brainwashed. It is just there faith. It hurts them just as much as it hurts us to be shunned but there faith tells them they are doing it for God so it is fine. Which when you think about it, unless youare an Athiest, is a pretty darn good reason.

  i am shocked by the hatred many of you display in your posts.

  some claim that we break up marriages, yet some of the happiest couples i know are faithfull brothers and sisters.

  Just another cult. Leave us alone. You have your beliefs, we have ours. I know you will beback to read this, I can feel it. Just remember faith is what is needed to be saved. It never says one must belong to a certain organiztioin. Faith, faith, faith. DO you understand. I do think it is sad that a cult has gotten so powerful. Taken my parent's away.   i have been in the "truth" for some yrs., & just can't seem to reconsile the huge fossile record with the society's timetable.

  if each creative day waz 7k yrs., that means the dinosaurs only lived on this earth for a few thousand yrs.= (sixth creative day 7k yrs.

  The killing of Job's family...

  i'm having a conversation with a couple of people in my office as i type this.

  i'm asking the question "why did god allow satan to kill job's family?

  " i told them that to say he did it to prove job's faithfullness and that he got even more in return for his faithfulness is not a good enough answer.

  Maybe Job didn't remember what had happened. There is no way a person could lose there family and not be sad for many many years. I know I would be. GOd is loving and kind, I am sure he did something. I have faith that he did.

  Awful, she should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. I don't know why jw's think it is ok for that to happen. I get df'd for something i was doing and people do that and nothing happens. They don't think about the state of the poor 4 year old and how this will affect her life. It could screw her up for life. Most of the time the victims are never taken to counsiling because it would be bringing it up again. Someday molesters will pay. I am sure of that.
