Go to the library and find yourself a good book and just make the most of the peace and quiet.

Ever go to a meeting DRUNK?
by GetBusyLiving ina few years ago i was living with a buddy of mine here in downtown calgary.
we were both inactive dubs but still half - assed on the fence.
one night i came home from work and there was a slew of beer bottles all over the living room, and my buddy slouching on the couch in his suit and tie, beer in hand.

Yeah, I did once although I wasn't really really drunk, I'd had time to sober up a little but I'd been to an all night party and decided to go to the Sunday meeting after no sleep and still wearing my clothes from the night before, but nobody seemed to notice.

"Catostrophic" Thoughts......
by ScoobySnax ini can be quite happy, down the pub, at work, with friends etc and an awful thought creeps into my mind that my mum might be suddenly ill, or one of my niece/nephews might get hurt/be hurt, it's really weird in that i have to stop what i'm doing and make a phonecall just to check.
i don't tell them that when i phone, just sort of phone like its a casual thing.
it is almost like catostrophic thoughts, i hate them and they always prove to be unfounded, trouble is it does sort of start to rule your life.

What you are describing sounds like Pure O Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, have a word with your GP, it can be easily fixed.

Define Success.
by LouBelle inmany people define success in many ways.
some feel that being at the top of their 'game' is success.
some feel that having a load of money in the bank is success.. what is success for you?

Whats your favourite food?
by PaulJ inwhat is your favourite spiritual food?
mine by a long way is my wife's lasagne.
it is out of this world.

Paul J - Theres nothing wrong with Aunt Bessies except I can never get them to rise, they come out like pancakes, oh and ketchup with bacon is such a waste, it has to be brown sauce or mayonnaise.

My ultimate favourite has got to be roast beef, home made Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, veg and gravy but I'm such a foodie that I have a 100 other favourites.

What's your posting routine?
by sonnyboy in.
do you first check your post history and respond to former posts, or do you simply read the active topics and go from there?.
i always feel guilty if i don't respond to a question or comment from the previous day, but i've been posting so much lately that it'll take too much time to go through my post history.
-
Ellie
I just check active topics and if there is nothing there I want to respond to I will look under Friends and Personal Experiences to see if there is anything I have missed.

People who never cry....
by JH in.
does this mean that they have less feelings, or that they were taught not to show their feelings, or they don't have any?
-
Ellie
I think it just depends on the person, I was always taught not to show my feelings but I'm a rebel and a very sensitive soul.
