Hi rr8483, firstly, let me just welcome you to the board, secondly, you are right, Jehovahs Witnesses, even those not baptised are encouraged not to have a relationship with a non JW, however, if he was practising and really practising I'm sure you would know as he would have little spare time and it would just be obvious.
My advice is talk to him about it, maybe hes just attending the odd meeting to keep family members happy.

i own five tarot card decks, and use them often.
not so often that i live my life by them, but enough.
one deck is one i use more then others, as i feel more of a connection with the cards.
I'm still frightened by tarot cards and all the other stuff but if offered I would accept just in an attempt to get over my fear.

just wanted to say i think he is a absolute legend and that his music gets better the more you listen to it.
i wonder what he would have achieved both politically and musically if he was still alive?

i am allowed one more topic today so i thought i'd make it interesting.. i'd have to say that i had an awesome jw childhood i had lots of kids to play with, my cong always held special things to make all the children happy such as renting space to have parties or watching disney movies at someones house, movie theatre parties.
sliding parties (you know sleds on hills, no gt sno racers back then), all kinds of things that prevented us from getting worldly friends.
I'm glad you had a good childhood, thats great.
Mine wasn't good but it could've been a lot worse, I got a lot of beatings and I wasn't allowed to associate with worldly kids much and as my mum was forever falling out with the brothers and sistes I wasn't always allowed to play with kids from the cong, fortunately though I have a brother only a year younger than me so we had fun together.
In a way though I'm glad that it was like that, I have my own kids now and I am happy to use my mother's example and do the complete opposite of what she did.
Why don't you copy my example, I was offered magazines the other day, I politely refused but they insisted so I took them, handed them to my daughter and told her to put them in the bin, I don't think it went down too well.
