  "Help! my dad is watching Pornography" Cries of a JW teen.

  as some of you may know, i'm still an active witness and i'm still in the planning stages of my "escape".

  i met a sister at a district convention a year ago and i've been talking to her on aim for a while.

  i think she is very amusing considering that she is very intelligent and often voices her views on the doctrinal falicies of the wtbs, but when its my turn to give my two cents she makes it seem as if i'm the only poztate.

  Anyway, Her dad is a ministerial servant and she recently found out that he has been looking at pornography. She was very distressed about it because she didnt know what to do. Personally, i thought it was hilarious because her dad is self-righteous and he has this coming to him.
  
  
  But seriously though, is the societies stance on Porn valid? Do relationships really crumble when one of the spouses starts watchin porn?

  I remember an elder from the days of my chilhood who impregregnated a sister.

  The thing was, the child was born and it wasnt till he was about 5 years old that the elder was dealt with. Weird.

  if the witnesses received orders not to shun df'd ones anymore, would you want to talk to them, or would you shun them in return, just like they shunned you, just to show them how it felt like.

  the site was called "the atheists manifesto", and i think i heard about it from someone on this board.

  Did you get counselled for going backpacking months at a time?

  not many people will have faced this situation, but i know at least one brother who was counselled on backpacking.

  it was said that he would be damaged spiritually.. how would he get to the meetings in countries he travelled in?.

  what if he was 100's miles away from the nearest hall?.

  For years there was a ministerial servant that would constantly irritate the elders about another brother who used to go hunting.

  Everyone elsel loved him because when he came back from the country he'd give us frozen bacon and venison meat slabs. Yum.

  Patrol of the kingdom hall property.

  out of curiosity, does the kingdom hall make a habit of sending a pair of men out to patrol thier building during weekly studies?

  once a week there are certain individuals who walk around a certain kingdom hall to pray against the organization and for the salvation of those inside.

  almost like clockwork, at 8pm two well dressed jw men walk around the building once.

  Our kingdom hall is in an area with a growing crime rate. My brother and I used to do regular kingdom hall sweeps, but i think the elders caught on to that we were just trying to get out of the meetings (lol).

  Its not really standard, but its more of a case by case thing. A sister had her car stolen during another meeting so now we're "allowed" to do sweeps again.

  Some Sister : Brothers are like parking spaces. The Good ones are used and all the empty ones are handicapped.

  (I think this is the part where i passed out from boredom).
