Feels good don't it!! My father is still PO of our congregation, and City Overseer as well. He has been heading up various convention departments for decades. He is so into his "secret decoder ring" elder stuff. The authority, the secrecy (confidentiality), etc. So I love dropping bombs like this one in his lap.

I told him recently that I know more about what goes on in the org, and at headquarters, now that I am an apostate than when I was a loyal dub. I just dropped this bit of news in his lap earlier today. I wonder how he's feelin'?

Back to Iraq

as i sit here getting sloshed on vodka sours one more time, i just wanted to say i enjoyed my time here on the board the last two weeks.

i won't be able to visit here as much as i'd like, but i'll do my damn best to try.

prior to r and r, i spent about seven months in iraq, and am not sure how much longer i have to go in this tour.

"the pilot has turned blue (in the face)," the passenger said in the sms message, reuters quoted the television report as saying.

Stem Cell Research article

in today's wall street journal there was an excellent article about stem cell research.

the united states used to be number 1 in science research.

we are now number 2 and continually on the decline even more.

you still do not understand the science. How many times does the point have to be made that these embryos that we are discussing are NON-viable. They were given every chance to develop but for a variety of reasons, they will NEVER make it. They are not a human at this point, but a mass of half-a-dozen progenetor cells.

Now, your assertion that even bacteria "hurt", or feel pain. That is just nonsense. Pain is a sensation generated by nerve cells, transmitted electrically through a nervous system to a central processing unit (brain), where the entity's brain process these electrical impulses as "pain" stimulus. Now, six identical cells CANNOT feel, sense, comprehend, or experience pain.

Please, before you start spouting your moral superiority, try and do a little research, so that you don't sound so ill informed and insensitive.
