Why Does The Society Pick BORING Books To Study At The Bookstudy?

my mom hates the daniel book and doesn't even remember studying it before.

I was hoping for an anouncement saying that the book study is not longer needed, it is an annoyance, it adds so much more stress and anxiety to the R&F and should for the greater good to all, must be done away with. But sadly, instead, they chose another boring book

the bookstudy is important for the borg. In a bigger group like the meetings people can sometimes not notice if somebody is there. If you split it up in cells, there is much more control. Every bugstudy conductor has responsibility for the on the CBS. And detects even the smallest absence of meetings. Danny

i already bought 2 door cars, and the witnesses didn't like it... i felt looked down upon, as it was a sin to buy a 2 door car.. now imagine an elder buying a 2 door car....

What is the relation between a 2 doors car or a 4 doors car and the fieldservice or eldership?

The only thing here it is a bit questionable for an elder to buy a big SUV. I can agree a little with that.

yes I am watching it on eurosport.

I am not so nationalistic so I do not want somebody from my ountry to win. Have some favourites who I like. But I think lance is at the momet simply the best, and I guess that deserves it to win. But it makes it a bit boring though.

what is wrong with 2 door cars, it is just a matter of personal preference. Lots of elders have 2 door cars, some have no cars, some have 4 or 5 door cars, some have a bike.

i used to try and avoid running into jw's after i was first d/f, but the past few years i have taken a different spin on it.

at my old job as a cashier if i was the only cash open then they had no choice but to have me wait on them.

the apprehension on their faces as they approaached was hysterical.

Anyway I think it is very good not to shun yourself if you are df-ed. First they will feel very awkward, and maybe start thinking. Second it shows that you are above that pathetic believe.

Usually the JWs will study whatever book the Society has an oversupply of. By using these books in the congregation book study it automatically creates a need for the book and they get their stock down. I doubt if it really has much to do with what material is in the book or whether it is interesting or boring.

I disagree. I think there study articles are a smart plan to keep people in, and warn for apostates etc.

When they have a stock they just put it as publication that you have to place at that month. I remember having to place sets of 3 of those old obsolete books. What a disaster. Was that local or world wide/

Muslim Extremists & JWs----Living A Double Life

isn't it amazing to see how these people can mingle in society and in reality be living a double life?

they may be nice to your face but ultimately, they think we (those who do not conform to their beliefs) deserve death.

Almost all religion think they are the best, and almost all nations think the same. Most people think there generation is better then the next or previous one, many people feel there race is better, then others feel they are smarter or have other better personal qualities then average.

Maybe it is in the human nature, and it takes real power to ascent above it.

Anyway I would think it very unfair to compare jw's with extremist moslims. It is just not the same. Mainstream islam is a better comperation. Mainstream islam thinks also they are better (like jw's) have the shunning (try to become something else as a muslim). and more

The only religion that maybe is an exceptio to the above are the boeddists. They have some real good point.
