im still a witness, but my mind is shunned, already.
im staying for fear, since i dont have anything outside the jw's.
im not a hardliner saying im sure jw's are wrong or god dont exists, but i confessed myself that i just dont know and i guess strongly that a menmade organization which behaves and acts like the wts cant be the right.

I am not going to KH so much anymore.I do not pray. I discovered the truth not because of the things they have done, like the UN, or the false predictions, or the lack of so many things in the organisation.
I discovered the truth because I digged into sciences. Could not ignore all the evidence about evolution, so feel no need to pray anymore.

lets just say that the jw teaching regarding armageddon, living forever were true.. and lets say that many on this forum who still attend meetings somehow survive.. you don't agree with the teachings.

Why would you want to live with the kind of people who continually judge others actions? Who are in no way flexible to the opinions of 'outsiders'? Why would you want to live a way of life that is rigid in rules and regulations, ones that you know are not right?
If that is true there are no outsiders anymore, so that problem is solved.
If that is true you do not nkow you are right, because they were right....
There are many nice JW's, so would be willing to life with them if that was the way....
if all was true, I would chooce life, and do (almost) anything to get there....
i have tried talking to my "devout" jw mom until i am blue in the face and she just won't budge.
but now i am really worried to death for her.
the other day she told me that she was going on return visits with another pioneer sister who is in her early 40's and much, much younger than my mom.
just let her do her FS
probably more healthy then sitting at home, doing nothing.....
gives her some purpose in life, even it it is all in fain, but she will never know anyway...

If you think it is not, please define the terms mentioned above.
Anyway, my opinion, is that this "good news" is actually "bad news", but luckely "false news".
If the good news would be true news, that would be bad news for us....

yes it worries me that people are able to so easily believe absurd stuff....
anyway of course aliens can exists (probably they do). That does not mean that automatically alien abduction or visiting stories are true....
about the extra dimension, yes string theory allows for extra demensions, I do not thnik it allows for the posibility of aliens living there and visiting other dimension, as far as I understand it....

i know many people did business with me because i was an elder and had to be honest.
i never cheated anybody anyway because it's simply not right but i know a lot of witnesses that were "screwed" by other witnesses......what about you??

the cover of this issue pictures a group of modern day people standing looking up as if looking to the sky and the title says something like "christ comming what does it mean to you?
" i think it's deceptive because witnesses teach that jesus already came in 1914. the article is talking about his comming to exucute the wicked and does not even mention 1914, but the photo and title on the cover would lead people to beleive that his comming is still in the future.
isn't this deceptive?
