  Ok I Have A Question For All Of You!

  when you were a dud (i call it 'dud' not dub..lol), ok how can i put this.....were you 'always on'?

  meaning did you always have something to give to people or witness to them at 'every' opportunity or did you look at it as a 'job' where you only gave things out in service?

  Nop, only in the service.

  never gave any oportunity-whitessing. Even when I still believed all in dubland, I was shy to speak to workmates etc.

  What if God was actually just an alien encounter in history?

  i always liked star trek, kind of a sci-fi nut by nature.

  anyway, an older episode involved leaving a gangster book on an evolving planet and then the people turned this into a way of life.

  well it makes me wonder at times, what if our early cultures were once visited by an alien culture and instead of realizing this, they took their advance technology to be god?

  There have been a lot of books on this topic.
  They look at such things as the pyramids, the bible, the nazca lines etc.

  Does not seem very logic that the aliens came during many times in history, and now not any more, and not showing themselves now. Not leaving any evidence behind.

  Also we are genetic so close to other species here, that it is not likely that there was any mix of alien dna or something

  Maybe they were here 2 miljard years ago, and left a few bacteria by accident. Those bacteria did well, and evolved in us

  i know this might sound like a question from "la-la" land but as a black ex-jws most of the white jw's that i did have contact with were really nice.

  i was talking to a hispanic ex-jws the other day and he was telling me of some of the racist experiences he had as a jw.

  i did not contradict him but i never experienced racism from caucasian jw's.

  in all those years never seen any form of discrimination against color (discrimination against gender: yes, descrimination for income: yes, discimination for coming for an 'ímportant family': yes)

  They did always mix up quite good. Mixed relations were more common they black-black or black-white mariages in the last ten years.
  I think we can see a lot about them, but most JW's try to life a good life and try to do be racists etc. (of course some will pretend, but we will never know that)

  it will not be that simple. Iran is much more powerfull then Iraq was, and we just learned what it the price for that was.
  I heard here on the new about 2 billion. That is 2000 biljoen for americans. And what are they doing wrong by the way? Why can they do not have any nuclear weapons? We have them... It is like wanting all the candy's for yourself and telling other kids to p!ss off. Not that I am not worried if they would manage by the way, they have a quite scary leader now

  WHY did you exit god and the bible when you exited the dubs?

  not all that post here threw the bible and the bible god out the window when they exited the dubs, but many have.. for me personally, i never doubted god or the bibles authenticity untill years later when i began doing a re-search on the bible canon and how it was formed.

  from there, i began looking at the sceptics view of the bible and it's god which then changed my views.. i guess my question is, why did you ( those who disbelieved god/bible upon exiting the dubs)... throw god and the bible out the window before you had re-searched it enough to make you believe contrary?

  if all you really knew was that the wtbts was bunk, what made you feel the bible and it's god was bunk too?.

  That was my way out.

  I could have lived with the UN lie, with the wrong teaching of blood (or at least until I needed it myself), and the child abuse cases aren't such a big thing for me either.
  But that they stick litterly to the bible on whatever happened and even how much wrong is has been proven to be, was what did it for me.

  Life Insurance... in the event of one's death

  is it possible to find out if somebody has death insurance for another person?

  my grandmother is very ill and possibly dying and my uncle claims he lost the insurance policy a few months ago.

  does anybody know how to find this out, if it is true or not?

  I think a 'death insurance' is not really neccesary. It is an event with a high probability.

  maybe this has been addressed before, but after reading certain comments about people being "outed", i wonder if the wts really monitors this site?

  if so, to what extent?

  or is it just individual elders etc.?.

  Knowing your enemy is always an advantage.
  I sure think that the WTS sees us (or apostates in general) as a enemy.

  It is very important for them so see what apostates are planning and thicking. Even if it is only to give food at the propertime to not become apostate. (for example what it was that made people go out of the organisation)

  I do not think they they do take a lot of action to find out posters identities. There are people on the board who coud have been exposed, but were not (yet).
  It would be too much of a trouble, as they would have to involve CO's local elders, bethel brances etc, just to find out who is who. Will do more harm then good.

  Propably the ones reading are not GB members but just lawyers, who report to the borg.

  just watching a show now, kind of a reality show where a woman explains that she was a jw, and now is most known porno star here.. she was married also this week i think, and has her own show now.
