  What the, Best wishes on your journey. Not an easy one. Never take anyone's word for it. By searching for the truth you will find it. If they don't get the books you need, keep asking. Don't ever take "no" for an answer. While you are there would you mind asking a question for me? Why do they predict dates when the bible says "Know one knows the day or hour". Why did Russell use pyramidology? Ok the answer is the "New light". Cathy

  Thank you for posting Jst2lw!!!! Using this case as ammo for my mother and need as much as I can get for a hard knock true and faithful down to the last dime witness. My case didn't open her eyes but with the quotes and what is going on in this case and the one in Canada I might have a chance for her to finally see the truth. Much appreciation. Cathy

  * When you first came here what did you expect? I expected nothing. * What were you looking for? I was looking to laugh and forget about what I had been through. * Did you find it and if so how? Sometimes, other times the pain is to deep inside to be able to handle some of the experiences. * If you were looking for information how did you look for it - Wander through the threads. o ask a question? o wander through the threads? o use the search utility? o other? * Where there other places that helped you find what you were looking for? If so where? Yes, H20, * How did you feel coming here at first? Like I didn't belong but that feeling was nothing new. * How long did you read before signing up and posting? Awhile, memory fades. * What made you feel safe enough to post that first time? Just some awesome people. * If you came across some of the flaming on here, how did you feel and what convinced you to stay? When people start flaming it is time to leave. I have enough controversy in my life for everyone here, but soon that will all end. Maybe after all is done and said in May I will feel better about flaming. If you have been here for a while now * How do you feel over-all about this website? The website is good. I came looking for something tonight and didn't find it yet but found something posted that I needed more than the information I was looking for. * Do you still come here for the same reasons as you came in the beginning? No. I realize when I come here that I am opening up my mind to more pain from those that post about their experiences. That has been hard all my life and I don't deal, I just leave. * How has the board changed? I think in the conception it was fun and sassy but also so encouraging. Now there is alot of pain and also a lot of posters who have been there holding another persons hand through it all. There are posters who have no tolerance but heck I just chalk that up to their childhood. * How does this affect you? I leave when I become to miserable. When I feel like I am falling back in the black pool of hell. * Have you thought of leaving? If yes then why stay? What keeps you coming back? I don't think of leaving, I just do it. I leave for a while, I come back for some reason and will always leave again. I have ex jws friends and they will ask me to look at something on this site, sometimes I can, other times I can't. Memories keep me coming back. You see we all lost a part of ourselve when we walk away from jws. Sometimes we just want to know we are ok, that we are not alone. That there are others out here like us. What do you see as the main goal for this board? To walk people through the leaving process. To let them know they are ok and life does go on after exiting the cult. For all those people who have been here and held another's hand kudo's. This is a place to heal. My life is not an open book. The things we go through are not up there for conjecture by some twit. We all have suffered, we all go through a grieving process, we all learn to stand up straight and move forward because we have no other choice. Sometimes in life we walk towards the rainbow and other times we walk away from the rainbow. When we walk away from the rainbow we need help getting back on track. Cathy

  well i have been feeling a bit like crap lately.

  work has been very stressful and my attempts to make new friends outside of the jw's have been mostly futile.

  the people i work with are immature and are more interested in the latest office gossip and whose doing what than anything else.

  Flower, I have not read all the replies here but the ones I did read were so inspiring. Take heart and go out there and have some fun. Volunteer at a center of your choosing. Meet other people who need a smile from your face. See how just a little bit of kindness from you shines in their eyes. If you have a child take the child to a local ymca. Volunteer there to help out with the children. My eldest son does this and he loves it. Life will change. It never stays stagnant for long. Good luck in your endevours. You are just facing a challenge that you will realize how strong you really are and how far you have come. Without the challenges we might never know how strong we really are inside. Cathy

  Blueblade, I am so sorry for your loss. No matter what age it just darn hurts. I just passed five years this past November 5 of Dad dieing. I guess that is why I am here tonight. My therapist explains that by doing things in my father's name that when the date comes I won't have panic attacks. During this week I do things in rememberance of him and it doesn't hurt so bad. Your words were very healing and a reminder of where I am headed. Thank you Blueblade for writing this. Cathy

  I am a little disappointed in both of you. I did not ask you to believe anything I said. I did not ask you to follow me with your nose stuck up Uranus. I asked you to read to gain the knowledge yourselves. Never take anyone's word for it. I certainly don't.

  Boys, boys you have to remember that I took these kinds of negative comments all my life. Add more to the conversation than insults. Not once did I stand on the pulpit and tell you that you had no choice in the matter and you had to take my word for it, now did I? I even gave you some of the information you so long for and what did I get back in response? No one learns anything if we throw insults. Because of your insolence and lack of knowledge (on this subject) and not wanting to read it for yourselves I will refrain as sometimes I do realize the truth hurts. Also go back and read my first post, Einstein studied astrology, now figure this puzzle out yourself. I know you both are capable or you wouldn't be here. Now remember Einstein is considered a Genuis. I think the guy is awesome but hey that is my personal opinion...and we know everyone has those. Another opinion...I love Frued! Yes I know, I know Carl Jung was totally awesome and Maslow came up with some great stuff that we use today....but Frued gets my vote. I do realize that if I go with what some people say he had an addiction to cocaine...but hey how would I know, I wasn't alive. All I know is what he wrote, not what he owned up to.

  Just wondering if your word for the day was Hoax? I did notice another post with the same word. Since you have so much insight could you look up Vertigo and find out what causes it? Is that a hoax to? You know the equal thingy. Just wondering what your take on that is?

  Just got back from the drs and looked, I had tried the 1:49am not 2:49. When I plugged in the 2:49am birthtime I was shocked. Sorry, I thought you had the same thing as I used to have for my birthtime. I can not verify any of this until I get to 9 lesson and learn but my chart will be the first one I do. I go with the 7:49am as the degrees are good, not perfect but they do work with the transits, if you take the birthtime you got for me and the 7:49 you will see what I am talking about. Those are major hits in my life. Dads death, Accident at work, move to another state, abuse. Without those incidents you came up with the degrees....as you will see, amazing.

  Thank you for posting. Maybe the knowledge is just inside us all. I don't know and until I confirm all this I won't have time to figure that out.

  I do have some other questions concerning somethings and at this time I can't be here to post. So will hold those for another time as I think you might have the answer.

  Good luck everyone! It has been thrilling and so very sad to hear such horrible stories from those coming out of the organization. The pain I have felt this month while being here has been horrendous. To all of you going through so much hold your head up and know in your heart that we do make it. No matter what the odds, we do make it and we learn along the way. Never take anyone's word for anything, look it up yourself, find the answers, if you do take someone's word, then ask for the source, go to the source but never ever listen to anyone as having the final say. You read what you can and make up your own mind whether it fits what you believe or it doesn't fit. Go from there.

  Have enjoyed the memories of so many things I thought were long forgotten. It just brings up some horrible experiences for me and personally I just want to forget. You know sometimes you think you are over them and they can no longer affect you, you come back after being gone two years and you start to live it all over again.

  To Monk3y, Ravyn, OCW, Arrowstar, good luck and may your futures hold more than you imagine. I will always be thinking of you three. To the ones I didn't mention I hope you get everything you desire in this life because life lived without hope is not living. Dream your dreams and make them reality.

  I am a little worried....

  my mother had ovarian cancer, her mother died of breast cancer, one of my father's sisters had colon cancer.

  i had bleeding every two weeks for about a year myself, and now i have abdominal swelling and kidney pain, difficulty urinating(been blaming the lupus--but none of the tests are showing anything wrong!

  ) i look like i am pregnant the swelling is so bad.. i am having this test done next thursday.

  I can't thank you enough for posting this. I get ultrasounds done every year on my stomach and pelvic area because of the bleeding. My dr knows there are tumors and he just keeps watching them making sure they aren't hitting an important organ. This past year the pain was so bad in and around my kidneys and liver, I would double over. He said I had two choices I could take birth control to shrink them or have laser surgery. This past year they were up in my stomach. I have no insurance and therefore refused it all. Since I have been seeing my chiropractor who does accupuncture on me, the only place he still can not touch is my liver.

  I will call and get this test done. I appreciate the information more than you know.

  Please take care and cross your fingers for next week. It is about time you had a good break in your life. It isn't over until the fat lady sings and I am not singing just yet.
