I am not into parlor tricks or disputing the validity of Astrology. You said you can draw up a birthchart. I had no idea as to your birthday as I never even looked at your picture I was steaming at your post. Now, you have my birthday as it is recorded as you say. With just the given information that was on this site, share with me my Sun, Moon and Ascendant. Please! Now you have no place geographically, no birth time as I had none of this for you.

I would just like to know what YOU THINK my birthtime is according to the information you have sitting in front of you. This is not meant as a spitting contest. Just sit and close your eyes and write what comes into your mind. You might be able to do something that others can not do for me. My mom does not talk to me because I told her I study astrology. She refuses to give me any information. I have two birth certifcates, the long and short form, with nothing. I called and they said don't waste anymore money as we checked your records and there is no birthtime at all.

Mercury goes retro on August 29 and it will be at 26 degrees Virgo. It will go direct on September 21 at 12 degrees Virgo. Virgo is Mercury ruled right now but with Chiron coming in the picture back in 1977, recognized in 1979 alot of Astrologers have done thousands of charts and feel that Chiron might replace Mercury. So for now, wherever Mercury is located and any aspects that would hit at these degrees will trigger this part of your chart. With Chiron he is the wounded healer, he shows in the chart our deepest wounds so some will have these wounds triggered if their chart is touched off with these degrees. Virgo is very analytical. Everything needs precision and the thinking ability is even more compounded if Mercury resides in Virgo. The facts are what these Virgoan's want, nothing but facts.

That is called the art of rectification. In the masters course we don't get to this until we have completed the other 8 lessons. We are not even allowed to take the masters course until we get the basics of Astrology down. Which I have just completed. So until I get to lesson 9, I am stuck with no birthtime unless Abaddon wants to do some work for me as I consider him way beyond where I am at in Astrology because he can do this.

No, but you should check your "facts" and believe only what the available evidence compels you to believe, not just what you imagine some "great minds" believed. Just because somebody clever believes something, that doesn't make it true!

I started out trying to disprove astrology as I felt it was like everything else in this life,nothing but lies. Someone challenged my unintelligent mind to show him the proof why it doesn't work. I believe in nothing if I can't prove it to myself. I can give you all the proof of Einstein but you see unless you search and read it yourself why should you believe me? I didn't believe those who explained anything to me until I read and understood what was in my vision. So I could explain away and it doesn't matter. Just like jws, until I started to study it for myself I believed no one's take on their reality of the bible. First you said you should check your facts, which i have done, then you tell me that just because somebody clever believes something, that doesn't make it true. Well which is it? I did check my facts and I made my own choices to study this Art. I didn't ask others to give me their take or their resources, I did it all on my own. When my teacher told me to ask him for help, I refused as I wanted to find out for myself. So the going was not easy but the rewards were immense. By the way, my teacher has a Harvard Degree in Sociology, Psychology and loves this Universe and mankind, but still I shirked his teaching as I don't believe anything anyone says unless I can see it. Yes, he feels I wasted alot of time when he could have given me the answers. You see this man has written over 26 books and has evolutionized Astrology as being more than medieval, unrelated, death sentences when you look at a birthchart. He also started out trying to disprove astrology.

Change of "look" after leaving the organization

i was wondering how many men here let their beard grow, when they decided to quit the organization.

since having a beard in the jw's is not permitted, it would seem appropriate to let one's beard grow just to show that we don't go by their rules anymore.

maybe for others it was growing a mustache or maybe shaving their head.. did you change your "look" right after leaving the organization?.

Not anything on the outside.

Inside I was different. I started to stand up and say what was on my mind. I no longer let them tell me what I had to do.

I had agreed to let them study with my kids as I was working 75hrs a week at the time. I told them there was one condition, they never ever mention meetings as my kids have no way of attending unless someone were to pick them up and it would be their choice to go. After being told that I needed to go on welfare if I could not attend, I told them that I was the head of the house and it was my job to provide.

At the study they started on my kids about waking me up and telling me how they wanted to go to the meetings. My son informed me of what they were doing as he was there when I told them about the one condition. I told my son I will stay awake during the next study. I did and I heard the brothers explaining once again to my children they needed to wake me up to take them to the meetings. I came out of my bedroom and informed them that there was only one stipulation to the bible study and since they did not adhere to my word, "there is the door, don't let it hit you in the ass on the way out, don't ever come back." Shocked, disbelief at myself and the fact I could stand up and actually swear.

So there were no changes to my appearance but inside I went from wimpy to hard ass.

Have you repented?...I have!

in one of metatron's insightful posts, a phrase jumped out at me.

he described a jw as having joined the religion in an act of repentance from a life of experiment in:.

sex, drugs, spiritism, and alcohol.. i guess i am feeling really rebellious tonight, because the thought came to me that i too have experienced a transformation, a conversion, and have truly repented.

I have repented, "Yes Brother, praise the lord, I am saved."

Actually I enjoyed this post and never thought of repenting from what I did as a Jehovah Witness.

Now the infractions are many where do I start?

I repent for all those that I carried the message to and who actually took up the yoke. Oh my god, my sins are many.

I repent for preaching against every religion as being false when I was to busy to pull the rafter out of my own eye.

I repent for all those times I held the New System out as a carrot for others to have faith in. Now I am really sick.

I repent for telling my parents they needed to do more. What the hell was I thinking?

All those friday night dinners at the pub instead of at the kingdom hall....how could I be so lame. Age 11 after I was baptized and the only place to be was the kingdom hall.

I repent for not understanding the Gay community. For showing them the scriptures and pointing out how they will recieve in full recompense for their sins, but never reading the whole scripture that continues to explain what I had done...wake up call, when my son told me he was Gay and I felt God was spitting in my face, only to learn that God is love and I was the one who had judged and condemned all. God had done no such thing.

Not understanding the concept of sex and deciding those that got pregnant didn't really love Jehovah because if they had they would not have had sex.

Forgiving the man who raped me at four because turning the other cheek was pleasing to Jehovah. I was the bad person that had to work out my sins, not the friend of my father's.

Forgiving the sister for leaving a nasty ass shit filled diaper under the seat of my car because she was to damn lazy to take it out after field service. Had I been less forgiving I would have chucked it at her during the meeting and told her to never leave her dirty underwear under my seat again. Asking money for gas as working part time didn't even cover the car insurance. Jehovah will provide and notice my good works.

Judgement and condemnation are mine saith the GB and make sure that you do your part to judge everyone and condemn them in this life or you will never attain Jehovah's approval.

My sins are many, my faults are immense, my memory is lacking and so is my sense.

Now to hit send or delete, which one, which one..hum.....

Mars rules Taurus and Uranus rules Aquarius. So yes Mars depending on where he resides in your chart would energize that part of your chart and whatever planet or cusp he is aspecting. Then look for where Mars is in Kate's chart and whatever aspects.

You are so right with this statement and if people do this they are not accessing the whole chart. We are more than our Sun. Sun is our energy, the Moon is our reigning need and our Ascendant is the face we show to the world.

My freaking AGE is next to my post!!!!!!! Knowing what I do I know that even without a geographical locale you could determine my sun sign and moon sign unless I was bang on a cusp, and that the rising sign would be a guess between three, or is it four (about seven years sinse I looked at the books I have). The 1.2 second "huh?" that this caused until I realised you didn't have magic was most amusing though

If you know so much about Astrology you would realize this statement is not true. I personally didn't care how old you were and didn't look at your age, if I would have been smarter I could have sat here and tried to figure your Sun out but I didn't care enough. I wrote it as a joke and obviously I got it right. If you knew Astrology as you say you do you would realize that the Moon takes 2 days to enter and exit a sign depending on the speed of the Moon and the Ascendant moves every four minutes taking two hours to leave a sign. So without the exact location and the exact birthtime there is no way of knowing. I would like to say I had enough love to try to look it up but the fact does remain I was joking. Sorry I was right! I would have never made a joke like that as it was inconsiderate. Please forgive me! Astrology is no longer magic and I don't have magic to make it fly. Pluto, Uranus and Neptune are generational themes, Saturn is the taskmaster and these planets are the only ones that don't move as fast as the Sun, Venus, Mercury, Mars and Moon. Abbadon you said you can get out your tools and tell me when I was born. I would so much like this as I have no birth time and my mother refuses to give me morning or night and if you look, you will see that the Moon moved into a new sign on the day I was born. I would so much like for you to rectify my chart as that would give me a birthtime. You see I have no Ascendant and no Moon placement and without those I don't have a timer to life's events. Since you can do this I would so appeciate it.

We are more than our Sun. Everything in life is cyclical including things that we may not understand at this time. The reason I wrote this subject is because the Society will have it's subjects up in arms about the end again and how close it is and if we realize that all things cyclical we soon realize how irresponsible the GB has been in informing those they rule. Carl Jung wrote extensively about Astrology and used it in his work. Albert Einstein also studied Astrology and with two great minds marveling at the wonders of this earth and all it holds I should dismiss it as being something not proven?

First gay socialites don't really sit around and discuss Astrology as they are to busy living life and having fun. Unlike yourself who attacked something that I thought would be interesting. Age old superstitions, agree but just like everything else Astrology has made great strides in the past twenty years. You would know this if you didn't sit and make judgements on something you know nothing about. I was not praying on people's lack of scientific knowledge. I actually thought that it was interesting as I figured the society will continue to talk about certain things that have nothing to do with the end of this system, as always.
I do not use Astrology to plan my life. I use it to understand those around me and where they are coming from. I find that looking at a birthchart gives certain areas that a person is working toward in this life, unlike mundane astrology.

We are all entitled to our opinions. They are like asses, we all have one, including you.

What are you a Sagittarius with a Leo rising and Aries Moon? A need to show your lack of knowledge by putting others down?

As far as putting the miles away from Mars I put it in miles as I live in the states. It interested you enough to look it up and for that congratulations are in order.

I look at the planets and ask why? I try to find answers to this life no matter how hard the road has been. I don't negate others feelings because of my own lack of knowledge.

I did not write this for such obnoxious, inconsiderate, unknowledgeable conjecture. I wrote it because I thought it was so awesome. Excuse me and I will make sure I don't write anything on this site that is not considered fluff.

The day after September 11th, I was on my way to work when I saw a Muslim walking towards me and I had an overwhelming desire to smash him in the face.

I felt this way after September 11. My son had taken all of us to Six Flags in October of that year and we saw Muslims and they all smiled at us and I smiled back because I realized that even though there are some bad apples there are those that just want a good life like I did. Well everything was alright then my eldest son started dating a Muslim. My first question was does she carry a bomb? That was so mean. Then he decided to go to meet her parents and I was so scared that he would get sucked into doing something. It was out of fear that I felt this way. Her family is awesome and she is the sweetest kindest woman. She tells stories of how her mom took the kids and ran for their lives before coming to America. A young child used to gunshots just blew my mind.

This is a keeper and I hope my son realizes it.
