Are there anybody on this forum who is knoweldgeable enough with expertise in this area to make

A new study -- the largest of its kind -- shows that hydroxychloroquine, the drug touted by President Trump, does not work against Covid-19 and could cause heart problems.
The study was published Monday in the Journal of the American Medical Association. It follows a study published Thursday in the New England Journal of Medicine that also showed the drug doesn't fight the virus. -

Do Jw's Dress up in meeting clothes for Zoom meetings?

such emphasis on dressing in a godly manner over the decades, would be interesting if some attend in pajamas or their work clothes, no makeup, etc....

Well, they are "dressed up" from the waist up, the part that shows on the Zoom screen.
All bets are off below the waist, though. I think there are more than a few shorts, yoga pants, etc.

I can't wrap my head around comments like this.
It's been 2 frig-wigging MONTHS that we've known about asymptomatic carriers fer gawd's sake.
How is it possible that breathing creatures with an IQ at least in double-digits haven't heard that "fit & healthy" persons can be asymptomatic carriers and, if wandering about in crowds, can infect dozens or hundreds of other people in a matter of hours?
Is it ignorance? Short attention span? Intentional cruelty? Abject neanderthal stupidity? SMDH

Did you know that World War 2 was started by Satan himself, personally, for the sole reason of attempting of exterminate all JWs?
Oh, how about this one? JWs were having so much success in the 1950s, starting Bible studies with housewives who would then convince their husbands to join them, that Satan prompted economic downturns such that "houswives" had to go out and get jobs. Thus, no one was at home when JWs called there, and so they were not able to start so many Bible studies.
Oh there's a million stories like these.

Trying to get my head around these go bags

i started to put away vacuum sealed bags of rice beans and spices anyway.
now they have this go bag crap.

All the "go bag" stuff happened after Hurricane Katrina.
Thousands, probably tens of thousands, of JWs were forced to evacuate their homes, sometimes ending up hundreds of miles away. There was no organized system of checking up on anyone, so it was the perfect opportunity for JWs to "fade".
The organization was, and is, utterly horrified that they might be forced to loosen even slightly their stranglehold grip on control & power over their adherents, so now there are orders for every congregation to have a "disaster plan", including giving your phone numbers and out-of-state contacts to the elders. So in case there is another Katrina-scale disaster, the elders can hunt you down. No more easy fading.
The "go bags" are part of the protocol for those congregation disaster plans. But as noted, by far the most important piece of that plan, from the WTS perspective, is making sure that contact information for every publisher is up-to-the-minute current and in the hands of the BOE.

The coldest I have ever been in my life, literally, occurred at Three Rivers Stadium (Pittsburgh, long since torn down).
It was summer, fer gawd's sake, don't remember the date, but it was either July or August, because the conventions in Pittsburgh were always July or August.
Had to travel to Pittsburgh from Sir-town for the convention, so of course only packed clothes for summer.
Was working the food stand. Always got put at the food stand.
Anyways, for some reason, it was unseasonably cold that morning.
Our food stand was directly in front of one of the 4 main "gates" that served as entrances into the stadium.
In addition to the temperatures (in the 40s? below 10 C) being so cold, a fierce wind was blowing....directly from the direction that gate was facing....funneled into the narrow gate....right at the food stand.
Thought I would die.
Somehow (I guess because I was outranked) I got stuck at the coffee urn.
Of course, on such a cold morning, EVERYBODY wanted coffee.
It was maybe a 30 or 40 cup urn, took 5-10 minutes to brew if it was filled up. People were demanding coffee RIGHT NOW, they were in semicircular rows 5 deep, then 8 deep, then 12 deep, they had all paid their "food tickets" and were wanting the coffee they had ordered.
Poor little coffee urn, and me, couldn't keep up. But if you didn't give the people their coffee, the lines just got longer and longer and longer...
I have this foggy memory of freezing cold, fingers stiff, in pain from the wind whipping, in only short sleeves, splashing tan water with a hint of coffee flavoring (as the urn was not done brewing) into styrofoam cup after styrofoam cup, cup after cup after cup after cup after cup after cup....
Good times.
