their methodology is flawed.
selling books and magazines that are rarely read sporadically to people doesn't deliver this message.

I tend to agree. Most people don't have time to read anymore, esp. religious material. Time is precious. Kinda like the cold callers from India, just no time to listen to their blag.

by Cameron insomeone from russia said that the society has a new bible study aid, "what does the bible really teach?
" and that it doesn't mention matthew 24:45-47. .
does anyone know anything about this book?

Happened to me. My jw wife started to go to the gym, ....a lot. I suspected but was told straight up don't be so jealous, he's just a nice man. When it became obvious, the only really bad bit was the kids on both sides.
We are mates now though, 15 yrs down the track.

Names and dates in Bible code reveals the future?
by Panda inaccording to a friend of mine she saw on some christian channel (she's born again)... anyway there was this supposed jewish math wizard scholar (i'm thinking kahbahla?
) he claims that there are names like george bush dates disasters etc.
all the code is broken down by the number 49+1=50 (right then i'm holding in my laughter and thinking what would the amazing randi say?

If my ex jw "friends" are an indicator, I would be a middle aged, red eyed ,bloated drunk, trying to stop my mid life crisis wife from shagging a younger, firmer model. I ran into a few of them recently and couldn't reconise them at first. Tragic!

Potty Mouths?
by Low-Key Lysmith inwhen i got out of the dumbs, i use to cuss non-stop i think as a pathetic tactic to make worldy people think i was a little more worldy.
i still swear from time to time, and foul language does not offend me at all, but i was talking to my sister the other day, she just turned 21, has discovered alcohol, is currently on public reproof, and i think is really close to being on her way out herself.
she cursed like a sailor the whole time i was talking to her.
