I have experienced a ruptured disc in the lower back. It taught me that good health is paramount. It also taught me to support myself... Try an osteopath, far less violent in action than a chiro...

A Dedication to Tupac Shakur
by Reborn2002 inseptember 13th, 1996 - september 13th, 2002.. today marks the 6 year anniversary of tupac's death.. i remember it like it was yesterday.. that was the only instance in which a celebrity died that when i heard of his passing, i wept.. often misinterpreted and misunderstood, he was one of the most controversial, passionate, influential, and powerful artists of a generation.
my generation.. in my opinion the greatest artist of the era, and many share my opinion.
undoubtedly a legend in his own time.. a poet, lyricist, political and social activist, like most shining stars that illuminate so brightly that they blind all who glare at it.. he was snuffed out at a young age.. and far too soon.. a conflicted soul, the passion, suffering, and desire for change in this world was ever present in his lyrics, and no current artist has been able to match that power of expression.. many theories abound as to what really happened that fateful night in las vegas.. the recent article in the la times proposes that his archrival, christopher wallace, aka the notorious b.i.g., of bad boy records, with whom he had an ongoing feud at the time, was directly responsible for his murder.. others believe that suge knight was the mastermind behind the offense.. yet others think that he is still alive, for indeed many coincidences and gaping holes in facts surround his shooting and autopsy.. i could delve into theories and my own opinions of what happened... but i do not wish to detract from the purpose of this post.. some say music is food for the soul, and can aid someone in getting through troubled times in their lives or in coping with stress and depression.

Let's just respect his legacy. I am a youth worker and he nailed the 90's and early 2000's. I lost a few young men in the turmoil that he spoke of. When I hear his songs, I shed a private tear for those lost souls who couldn't live in this mad world...

Question about food (OUTLAW, et al.)

there was a recent thread on the importance of proper heating/cooling of food.

Just did a quick google search...
Lastly, the most important point. Never keep cooked rice at room temperature. Bacteria develop quickly at room temperature and spoiled rice is poisonous. Alway keep leftover rice heated (min 140 F) or refrigerated. If rice turn sour, just throw away. Reheating spoiled rice do not eliminate poison.

I managed to get very ill a few weeks ago in Bali via food (I think). Not too hard in a place where many of the "local eateries" have no toilet paper and rarely soap in their squat toilets!! I hasen to add that I take paper and hand wash!!
And yes CC fish n chips plus beer is a safe combination. Add Noosa and I would imagine a relaxing and fun holiday :)

I guess CC that it is almost all starch, so a perfect breeding ground. Add warm and moist.

I didn't read Outlaws advice, so this may be covered but strangely, rice is supposed to be the most liable to bacteria if left out. It must go straight to the fridge, or be thrown out after cooking.

My last contact with jws was when an "elder" pulled his car over and walked up to me. He put out his hand to shake mine. I knew what he was up to and ignored it. He started talking, so I took out my earphones. Do you believe blah blah, faithful and discreet blah...No.
Do you believe jehovah blah blah...No.
Well write a letter to the cong blah...No.
Earphones back in. That was oh about 12 yrs ago. Very satisfying!

Hinduism is old, but it is not even close to Christianity
Hinduism is the oldest known spiritual tradition in the world and there is evidence that it flourished long before recorded history in ancient India.
The ancient Vedic civilization practiced Hinduism in the Indus Valley over 6,000 years ago and it was already then an old established tradition.
There is plenty of Evidence that its origin goes back into pre-historic times.Read more: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_old_is_Hinduism#ixzz1MCgkzhML
