I spent some time with a Baba in India. He truly lived in the state of samadhi. Interestingly, he had no dreadlocks, no beard, dressed as an ordinary Indian and never asked for special treatment. He had been a millionare gold trader but in late middle age gave all to his wife (once the children had grown) and at that time, had been walking for 25yrs without a thought for material goods. He had no concern for the past or the future, living completely in the now. He initially came across as any "normal" person but if I asked him a philosophical or spiritual question, he would look into my eyes and BAM I was taken to a state of timelessness and he would answer usually with an illustration. He actually scared me with his subdued power. but always finished with a laugh.

I am not a person who is keen to follow individuals but I certainly learned a lot from Yoshi Baba

my co-worker is a vegan and jw constantly talks about how healthy she is...blah, blah, blah....all day long and she's getting on my last nerve.

she's always posting how meat is murder on facebook and how all meat eaters are sooo uneducated.

funny since she dropped out of home schooling and never recieved her ged.

That goes into the mouth does not defile a man but what comes out (words). I use this with vegans when they judge meat eaters. I just don't tell them it was jesus who said it.

Jimi Hendrix was definitely a no no, as he was quoted as saying he channelled his music..Must be demons. More likely he was being modest and not taking the glory for his extraordinary talent.

Also I always thought ACDC was more to do with electrical power... As in FULL POWER!!!
