The top one looks like a Rainbow Lorikeet. They are so noisy and very feisty. Makes me smile watching them hang upside down from branches arguing with their neighbour birds.

Sizemik, they broke the mould that made those men. We can only aspire and doesn't the planet need a few billion of them right now?

Hey Zid, Geoffrey Rush went out with my (step) sister. He was such a shy nerd then. All he did was blush. Guess what? He went into theatre to get some confidence. Reckon he got there!

A stunning conisderation of injustice: the FALL of MAN and his Salvation
by Terry inin certain instances, in society's courts of law, a false accusation takes place.
a wrong conviction happens and only a heroic effort on the part of family, friends and attorneys can save the wrongfully convicted person from penalty, imprisonment or death.. another possiblity might also occur:.
if you are wrongfully accused and convicted but saved by the very person who accused you--what then?

After reading your arguement I came to a further conclusion. What a brilliant way to cement unconditional devotion. Tell people that god put a test to our ancesters, they failed so miserably that we and in fact all humans must pay with death. Ah but don't fear as loving god killed his son just for us to get (possible) life (in the possible future sometime). But this will only happen if we devote our all without question. It's foundation is fear and guilt but nevertheless gets the result. With most religions using a similar base no wonder the planet has not moved on from war, distrust...

The *new*, new iPad ... will the iSheeple feel 'had'?
by Simon inso apple just released the new new ipad ... almost 2x the performance in cpu, gpu, wifi, lte etc.... makes me wonder, is that the reason that the last ipad didn't get a number?
they must have known and already been working on this version as the 'proper' one but some pieces of tech weren't ready so the last one was a stop-gap release.
if so, i wonder how the isheeple will react once they wise up?

Yeah understand. I bought mine online for $490 unlocked from Hong Kong. The company assures that the phone works in your country and has a 12 month gaurantee. Been perfect. But yes HTC was up there

Ooops pushed the wrong button.
I am biased as I use a Nexus 7 and a Samsung Galaxy S111. Both a fraction of the cost of Apple products and more freedom for free stuff.

Condolences Jeff. These men like your father give me hope that humanity has a future. With constant bad news hope is lost. But when I read what this one man did in his lifetime to ease suffering..... Humans are capable of great evil and great good. Your father was one of the good guys. You are lucky to be his son.

Whatever happened to luo bou to ? The answer.
by smiddy ini posted this question a while back ,through hopscotch i was able to get in touch with him.,and we had a phone conversation a little while ago"luo bou to" had a massive stroke in nov .last year and is presently in a nursing home , and is as comfortable as one can be in his circumstance .
he is paralyzed on his left side and doesnt find it easy to communicate via pc , however i`m sure he would appreciate words of encouragement from freinds on this board as he keeps up to date with whats going on here.
i had his permission to let you know his circumstances.. i spoke to him on the phone for some time and he has no trouble communicating verbally ,so if their are any, especially in s.e.qld.
