Guess where came to mind when I posted my comment? Lamington Plateau!! I actually wrote it then deleted it! Yeah in my long life and carreer I have had a fascination with the mind. Our greatest gift and our greatest curse. Our Western world is based on action, achievement and "you should have or should be" In fact many retired people (read men) fall in a heap when they stop working because they were too busy all their lives achieving without truly knowing themselves. You are very young and I am sure you will look back in five years time and laugh at what you thought was important now. In fact I predict you will be a completely different person. How's that!

So where else can we go?
by Julia Orwell inno, i'm not misquoting peter talking to jesus again, or relating a conversation i had with a jw.. i'm asking something a little different.. i began my fade in jan this year and completed it at the memorial on 26th march.
since learning ttatt and becoming mentally free, my depression has improved, i see colours better, and my anxiety issues have dissolved.
i returned to teaching high school after years away from it, and am a substitute teacher at some local schools.

My advice for what it's worth is possibly the opposite from most comments here. Rather than doing more stuff, I suggest stopping and taking stock. Yes it's reasonable to make plans but not when it is making you "scared" and anxious. Take a breath. You have turned your life around and so has your husband. A wise man once said (basically) "When trouble arises just sit." This was CG Jung who lived to a ripe old age. He suffered from quite severe mental health issues when he was young. Now from what you have said, you have a great handle on your depression and how to deal with it, it's just you are worried that the black dog may bite again. That's reasonable and actually understandable after such large changes in your life the last year. Love yourself a little. You are doing just fine without the jw superstition that god is protecting you. The monkey mind can cause us much grief e.g. I'm thirty I need a house, or I need a better job. They are great goals when we are feeling powerful and confident. Why not dust off the tent and go away camping with hubbie and refocus on what's really important in life?

Rudds new asylum seeker policy
by barry into the aussies out there what do you think of the government policy to send asylum seekers to png and have them settle there if they are proven to be refugees and if not to be sent home or to a third country.
i believe this policy will definately stop the boats.

I agree with the posters who say we can't trust the media but where do you get your information from? I class the ABC, Al Jazeera as media. I don't take any Murdoch media seriously.
Even though it's off topic I agree that most illegals come in by plane and don't leave. Actually I know many live in my high tourist area. I met a(n Australian) Customs officer in Bali who said they are overwhelmed and Immigration is worse. Today's news (ABC) finally exposed the racket in Indian student scams where approx 50% of applications were fraudulent. One guy had been kicked out, changed his birth date returned and took his claim to court after being knocked back again! Finally he was exposed. Of course the real criminals are the immigration agents who fleece the desperate.

Speaking strictly about the people on the boats I reckon it has merit . It appears (if we can trust the media) is that these people fly into Indonesia, which obviously requires a passport, get a Visa On Arrival which is basically a stamp for $25 US, burn their passports and any documentation and pay to be taken by leakey boat which gets a sympathy vote from the media and wait for the Aust navy to "rescue" them.
I used to say let 'em all in until I realised that thousands of poor b*****ds have been waiting after doing the right thing and going to the UNHCR in Malayasia and Indonesia for literally decades. Legitamate refugees who left with nothing except their clothes, rasing their kids until adulthood in camps.
How 'bout those guys rioting a few days ago and burning their camp down as Aust was deemed too slow in processing them. Send them back I reckon.

The lonely skull of a wandering European, found at Taree, NSW
by fulltimestudent inthis is believed to be the skull of a white (european) person, who should not have been where the skull was found.
that's because, australians generally want to believe that the first europeans to live in australia came after captain cook.
that view, is likely to be a bit of jingoistic rubbish, but it serves the cause of white nationalism.

Considering poor navigation knowledge it would be a fair guess that the skull is either Dutch (considering Batavia ((Jakarta)) was a hub of trade for centuries and is just NW of Australia, or Spanish considering the volume of ships attempting to get to and return from South America and all that gold.
In the 40's a rudder from a 16th century vessel was dredged up in this area by sand miners. Actually I saw it laying near the beach in the 70's until the local council dumped it not realising its importance! Also an aboriginal "clever man" in this area had a Spanish cutless when whites first settled here. He refused to say where he got it. Local legend says there is a wreck in the dunes ( and yes ground radar did pick up an image when the story broke in the 80's but was never investigated as too expensive) and that an old rock wall nearby is the remains of a "fort" created by the ship wrecked sailors.
