Tomorrow night there's a trance party in the forest nearby. Does that count?

i'm to angry right now to write a complete synopsis on the following article from the watchtower.
it regarding child molestation and repressed memories.
i'll put in one quote, and leave this rest for you to read at your leasure.. ps, probably worth copying this because i would be surprised if they will leave it up much longer!.
Steve,
were we ever part of that crazy organisation???
Shame, shame
i was having trouble sleeping the other night and switched the tv on to bbc 2. there was a programme on about the sw region of africa and a country called namibia.
early in the 20th century namibia was under the control of the german colonialists.
the germans were rather keen on getting more land for themselves as there were a couple of large tribes of black peoples living in namibia.
Man, when will the world get off Germanys back.
Those poor bastards have been so ground into the dirt by guilt that they bend over to be so polite. I met a young woman recently and we had a frank discussion on the subject(which she found really uncomfortable). Her father wasn't even born till the late 50's.
I explained my forefathers treatment of aborigines, as explained by Pope. Our government took black kids from their parents up to 1970 saying it was better for kids to be raised in orphanages than by their families...
What was that story about casting the first stone??
the jws used to always have discussions about whether to have children "in this system of things".. i used to always think it was pathetic to avoid having kids because of the so-called impending armageddon.. however.
despite the fact that i've always wanted kids, right now i'm not so sure.
just look at the things happening in the world.
I vote for kids. When I was a jw and married we worried about having kids in this system.
My daughter is now 24 and pregnant. My son is 20. They are the most special people in my life. I feel for those who listened to those dried up old men in Brooklyn who said wait for the new system.
meeting jehovah's witnesses at your door was a fresh, new experience.
they were nice, friendly and smiled real big.
along with your bible study you received an instant life.
Jws don't believe in hell. Remember they reckoned it as a scare tactic of the churches?
Nah ,they just reckon we will be sent to gehenna for eternal destruction., after being in a state of mental and spiritual darkness, after being ridden down by the horses of the apocolypse, who will have blood up to their bridles
Nice....
these are a few of my favorite things: .
glittery/shiney things esp.
clips.. snowballs - i love them & have a little collection going.. big white towels - esp after a hot bath - wrap yourself up in pure luxury.. small handbags.. the small of a mans' back.. what are your favorite things.
Ditto with LouBelle. Exhaustion after dancing all night.
That sleepy sigh that women make when passions are rising
A wok full of Thai food made wth love and enjoyed by all
Full moon(which is currently shining through my skylight)
i remember when i was around the age of 10 or 11, there was a book that jehovah's witness parents used in family bible study that had two versions (one for male, one for females) or maybe there was one and it just had chapters and i am remembering wrong.
i do remember vividly having to endure the rather male dominated view of what happens when a young woman enters adolescence and what a young woman has to look forward to in her 'duties' as a loyal wife and mother serving her husband *gags*.
does anyone remember that?
It's quite obvious Ruby that you were draining you nervous energy and your resistance to satans influence was diminished. Or did you just go blind??
being a chubbier woman most of my days - i've only known who i am in this body.
i've now taken steps to reduce my size (i'm taking this seriously - i've decided to slim down & now "own" my number).
i've always been a confident person, regardless of being chubby.
Hey Loubelle
I reckon it's more about age. Really.
At mid life(40) I took a hard look at myself. My exwife said I looked 50 and she was right. I changed my outlook and the pounds went with it. I am my real self now. I have friends of all ages and no one can believe that I am nearly fifty.
I don't know how old you are but my advice is go with the flow. You definitely are changing in more ways than you realise.
Have fun with it!
