I had a ton of that stuff too and it felt awesome getting rid of it. I did make sure to tear everything up and rip the pages out of books because I didn't want anyone else to read it.

I know this may seem quite wierd but I wouldn't mind sleeping serparately sometimes, it's more comfortable. Sure I love to snuggle and cuddle, but then I also like to stretch and and sleep like a starfish.

1) The Crocodile Challenge with KurtBethel - we had lunch in a crocodile den - and yes Kurt ate crocodile for lunch, I stuck with a traditional curry.
2) I've held two huge boa constrictors, one was an albeno, the other one a massive a 25 kgs and I could feel her starting to squeeze me.
3) dress up as a fairy god mother and a bee and gone bowlling in public

My wife just told me to move out...
by nolongerconfused inbecause of "religious" differences, she now wants me to move out and "separate"...i said what biblical grounds does she have for her request?.
she couldnt respond...she said she'd rather be beaten up by me than have an "apostate" in the house.... this org definitely encourages conditional love.... i don't know what to do...by the way, we dont have children.

oh my! NoLongerConfused that is just horrid - I am so sorry that this has happened. Your response was good - what biblical grounds does she have? Her response is shocking - who would want to be beaten up - that is just mind blowing.
I'm sure you still love her...I would just keep on telling her that you do love her and don't want to separate, that you need to sit down and discuss all the options like married couples do. If she doesn't want to do that perhaps you need to encourage her (and I'm loathe to say it) to go to the elders and see if that is the correct course of action to take....
I hope she sees reason.

hmm interesting....
I have very few close friends and they have been scattered to other cities and I only ever see them now and again in a year. I'm finding it more difficult to make friends - people seem not to want to branch out and accept new ones. I have tried to be social at my new company but *shrug* people are more interested in their phones, AND I am not going to beg anyone to be my friend.
Also I find that I treasure deep relationships, I want to be able to have fun with my friends but also have meaningful conversations, we don't always have to be on the go go in order to enjoy each others company.

Today's watchtower study... Ugh.

i mean almost all of them do but this one is one of those articles that takes things too far.. i mean they are condemning the people who are trying to help/save the earth because it's "satan's" world and instead are saying that religious salesmen with magazines are doing way more than the others!like are you f**king kidding me?another reason why i hated this study article is for what some of the young ones did in response to the study.

by nowwhat? inpersonally i hate it when you come face to face with someone disfellowshiped and you can't do a simple acknowledgement or greeting.
they are obviously making an effort to be there to be reinstated.
as i recall back in the 1970's they did allow this but what is always the case some took advantage of this provision and in engaged in full blown conversations.

just shows you how unloving that is. If someone is repentant they should be accepted right then and there. The bible says once you ask Jah for forgiveness your sin is far away as the east is from the west....or something along those lines.

I have 3 daughters who hate me and 2 grandchilden banned from seeing me. Having a sh*t day now.

Amiela - Please please hold it together. Remember your daughters don't know any better. The only thing I can say is when you do see them, to continue to treat them with love and if they question you and they allow it, explain that you did research as is encouraged by the society.
My heart bleeds for you. Stay strong, get people around you that you can talk too - feel free to email me at [email protected] I may be far but I always have time for anyone that leaves the organisation. I know it is very difficult especially when children are involved.
