"in november 2007, researchers found a cave deposit containing mammal fossils on the mulan mountain of chongzuo city and collected two human tooth fossils and several mammal fossils from it.

in may 2008, prof. jin changzhu found a piece of fragmentary archaic human mandible and a large number of symbiotic mammal fossils in the trial excavation of this cave, which was named zhiren cave.

according to stratigraphic correlation and faunal analysis, 230th-234u disbalance uranides method and isotope dating method, the age of archaic humans in the zhiren cave was 100,000-113,000 years ago.

I wonder when many in the christian world will wake up to this kind of proof. I'm sure not all christians believe that man is only 6000 years old but a great majority of them do. Well the ones I've spoken too .... anyway point is - wakey wakey.

Doesn't science point to there being 7 lines of decent - or something along those lines - can't remember what the theory is called - the 7 mothers of eve? The 7 Eve mothers - okay I haven't had my coffee yet.

Dissed / Anna / Wanna - exactly - they wanted to start all over from square one because it seemed I had not grasped these concepts. I had only spent my entire life up to that point in the faith, pioneered, did fantastic talks, etc....

I am happy for that though - made exiting a hellofa lot quicker.

When the elders realised I was serious about questioning the doctrines the faith taught they came to see me. I explained that we were served up information on a platter and never actually found out for ourselves if it was the truth or not. I asked that we sit down together without the publications and have a biblical study. To use the bible and only the bible to prove the doctrines. I said I would give them however long it was and I would stay in the faith.

They didn't choose to have a bibilical discussion, instead they sent a "spiritually strong" sister to me. I asked her if the elders had given her the brief of what I required and the conditions of the discussions. She said they had and promply pulled out all the "baby" literature (brochures/pamphlets) to start the discussion.

I told her that the publications would not be necessary as she had to prove the doctrines from the bible and the bible alone. After 10 minutes or so, I thanked her for her time, gave her back the publications and said that since the doctrine couldn't be proved I had my information.

one of the hard core doctrines of the wt society, and many other religions, is that women are to be in "subjection" to men.. in the bible, in genisis , it says the domination of women by men came after adam and eve disobeyed god.

eve was cursed by pain in childbirth and that from then on as a curse: "he shall rule over you " from then on the male was to dominate the female.. but that was not in the original plan.

this was a reversal of the plan and a curse.

Flipping out at the meeting

unfortunatley, i still go to many meetings as i am working on getting my wife to wake up.

for the most part i maintain my composure but there have been two or three times when i actually have gotten so upset and the frustration built so high that i have come very come close to actually slamming something down or pounding the table in the literature room, or shouting out how i felt!

has anyone else felt this way?

Yes. Many times and then it got too much for me to carry on - and mid announcement that I wouldn't be giving the talk I was supposed too, I got up and walked out - and when asked by the door attendent if I was okay, very loudly said "Very okay, I'm leaving" or something like that.

There were times I was called to the back of the hall by the elders so they could voice their concern about my laughter or hair or some other insignificant thing and I would very loudly (out of serious frustration) tell them they were over reacting.

any day could be the last day of our existence... with that in mind, how would you want to spend your final hours, if you knew that your life was going to end tomorrow?

what would you like to say on that last day, and to whom?.

I want to spend it with people I love and care for - and my animals. KurtBethel would have to be there too. I would like to have one more day with him before I died.

Shocking Email from a Dear Friend who is No Longer a JW

she was in very bad shape when i last spoke with her over a year ago.. "i'll make this short in case it is not functioning.

besides i'm not sure whether it is alright for you to read it or not.

rubadubdub - I am so pleased you chose to send your friend an email. It is so worth the risk - because you just don't know. This may open up a door for you not only to reunited as friends but to speak about TTATT. Ag and even if you and her just reunite as friends - that would be awesome. All the best!

You know I'm pretty sure that is why I never married a JW boy. I did not like the fact that I would have to answer to him as my head. I didn't like the fact that I may be more spiritually mature and I would have to take direction from him.

I questioned their so called authority and that didn't go down too well on a number of occassions.
