R.I.P." Daisy"
by smiddy inyesterday we had to make the decision to put our cat down as her health had deteriated so much in the last few months ,and especially in the last week.
many of you will know it is such a traumatic experience to go through and very painfull emotionally .. i had never considered myself a cat person , we rented a house ,double story with an outside balcony and next door had what i would describe as an umberella ?
tree ,where a cat sat, and looked over at us at the second level.. it started hanging around the front door and i said dont feed it as it will never go away.

My little opinion is that some people are making far too much of this whole thing. They have an idea and it takes a hell of a lot of work to put out well researched articles. They are only trying to tell TTATT, in my books that is great. I'm not doing anything! All I do is provide one on one discussions with people that seek me out - but that is my way.

ah smiddy, *hugs* cats are beautiful animals and I am happy Daisy found you guys and adopted you as her family and had happy days with you. You know the cats' rule the home. They definitely become a part of the family!
I have a cat and I love her to bits - she's been my baby for 11 years. I have a beautiful pic of her that I'll get tattooed once she passes - her name is Belle and - I just love her.

I'm quite happy to provided one on one encouragement or meet up and speak things through with people.
I do have a lot of catching up to do - I've only been out for 7 years - got lots to do, see, experience, etc.

How to give to Jehovah
by Satanus inback in the good old days, when god actually spoke to his great warriors, generally stuff they gave to their god was offered up as burnt offerings.
they burned thousands of cattle, goats, sheep, lots of cities and even a few people.
back then, jay hoover got off on the smells of bbqing meat and just generally burning stuff.

Barry - yip. I am so over giving money - I've been giving my whole life, either out of obligation, being moved, robbed, you name it. I'm looking after myself and my family now as best I can. I will give with my time or skills - many don't want that though *shrug*

each of our end of year, 3 day assemblies were a nightmare. They would happen in December - the middle of summer - hottest time of the year, you'd get burnt to a cindar with the most ridiculas tans.
My worst ever was when I had got my first scrap of a car (there were 2 little mushrooms growing on the back floor - I named them MishMush and LouMush) That summer we had a torrential down pour, my side of the car was rusted at the top and the rain was pouring through onto me. I had to pick up my friend and some elderly sisters. I delivered the sisters to the enterance of the stadium. My friend and I then had to park about 500m away. There was NO undercover. By the time we actually got to the stadium, we were drowned rats, my underwear was dripping. We looked at each other and agreed to go home and change. We changed....and decided to stay at home, and only return to pick up the old dears as the agreed time and place.
Lo and behold my elder uncle phones up and asks where we are, I told him I had enough and was not going to go to the assembly and sit with a bunch of unloving people, who couldn't be bothered to help. He came and picked myself and my friend up. I didn't bother taking my bible or song book and sat with my arms folded, didn't look up a scripture. They had to feed me too. I was being deliberately difficult.

ooooh Satanus - you are SO missing out!!! It's a piece of bacon wrapped around a kebab stick, a cherry on either end and glazed in a not too sweet cherry coating - braai or grill those up - DELISH.
We also get pork rashes - the best thing on this damn planet. Thick cut bacon if you will or pork belly, glazed with a honey or pineapple - it's a salt that we get here and you put a fair amount on. You could make your own honey glaze - let me tell you - man - the bestest things ever.
Get that going in the States, you'll make a damn fortune.

FlyingHigh - yes there are those churches that do amazing work and really do go out of their way to look after the communities they are in and I totally stand up and applaud those churches. If I am moved to contribute to a cause I'll do it, otherwise I prefer to give of my time or skill.
