That is wonderful!! If I could afford it, I'd do it too. As far as the person that you picked....there are no accidents.

so yesterday i was watching the news and i saw something about secret santa.
there is this movement of people who hand random strangers $100 bills at places like laundry mats and thrift stores.
so i was "moved" and decided to give it a shot.
two weeks ago i sent the first one to a friend of 45 years who made a galloping escape down a grocery aisle and out the xpress lane to avoid my frightening middle aged wife, my 4 year old grandson and myself.
of course, i do sport a patch of facial hair now, and he likely imagined that he heard me asking the clerk for a gallon of fresh blood and three straws.
anyway, he moves quite well for a man of 71, so i gave him a nicely embossed certificate, suitable for framing.
i guess i should mention my/our status these days first:.
i've posted sporadically here, but have been a voracious reader of all of your wonderful posts.
spouse and i are almost inactive now.
Hi MNC,
Your story is a lot like mine. I'm also a seldom poster and rabid reader of this board. My mother in law (a faithful JW) passed away over the summer and it's given us so much more freedom. Put lights on the house for the first time this year!!! Just waiting for someone to see them and turn us in. The thing is, I don't care anymore!! Enjoy your newfound freedom, I know I am.

my cousin passed away last week from cancer at the age of 49. the cancer spread so fast it took our family by surpise.
we figured she had a couple of years instead of months.
she left 4 children(3 were baptised and 1 was disfellowshipped a couple of years ago).
What a terrible experience!! Unfortunately, not unlike what happened when my mother in law passed away over the summer. My husband and I are inactive and my mother (who is DF, but attended the funeral to support me and help with my two small children) was outright shunned by all at the funeral. She sent a lovely flower arrangement to the KH for the service and wanted my husband and I to have it at our home to enjoy after the funeral. After everyone left to go to the meal, I took the flower arrangement and I was stopped by an elder and his wife to ask me what I was doing - apprarently they felt that I should leave it there for the congregation to enjoy on Sunday at the meeting. I ignored them and kept walking.
Just disgusting.

one of my "so called" closest sister friend in the congregation, said to me when we once had lunch that "if i was a man, i would want to have an affair with you"!!!
i just went numb...what a crazy thing to say.
i think she revealed her sick deep thoughts.
everytime i check something here that god damn pop up comes up..."secrets of pedophilia.......{long pause} ......in an american religion.
" this has caused me many dirty looks at work and one woman reported me to my bosses who made me show them this website.."okay so your not a pedophile, that's great carry on, you silly witness man!
" embarrasing!
as far as i know, the wedding ring custom, origins from pagan worshipers so why is that allowed by the wt???
i've never saw an article abt that in their literature.
isn't that to swallow the camel?
i think there is no god or satan or ghosts or ufo's....but....my sub-consciuos mind is so messed up by witnesses if i hear a bump in the night i need to investigate....in the back of my mind i fear demons more then a burgular!
it so weird, it was drummed into me all my life, it still freaks me even though logically i know it's not at all real.
i have a bad dream and jump up to check the house....how's that for a 37 year old 6 foot 4 man?
good morning all:.
is it your nature to do so, or do you have to work at it?.
coco.
