  about 4 months back, apostate lon posted a youtube video entitled watchtower society broadcasts pagan symbol.

  i try not to believe in conspiracy theories but that symbol just doesn't belong there...hmm.

  now that i have been a born again christian for 10 years, i see things that just boggles my mind.

  like this: we all spent untold hours in the field service telling people (mostly christians) about the paradise earth.

  that was the reason we were at their door.

  I am always happy to learn that someone like yourself has not abandoned God. I haven't, and I can't express how happy I am inside. I have discovered two beautiful truths that bring the entire Bible together. Two things that remove all the "clutter". Two things that make the Bible so easy to understand. I will not spill my thoughts about those things here. While I do respect you, from what you say on your posts, it feels so complicated. I could never trade what I have discovered, for such complexity.

  well it seems for many on this board the time came to leave the w.t and cross the bridge in to a real world.

  speaking for myself l feel i did not enter the cold and lonely world i was lead to believe i was entering.

  rather i have discovered it was no great loss leaving a world that had protected me with false, dreams, fantazy and false promises.. but what have i really achieved by my leaving that i value?.

  I personnally feel that since I have left, my mind and my body are at total rest. Even though I say I loved my previous life, that was only because that was all I knew. Now, even little things don't cause stress. Such as working overtime and having to race home to go to the meeting, or having to force yourself out in preaching work just so you can continue to qualify as an elder. EVERYDAY is a joyous day. Not that I don't have any problems that life brings, it is just that my time, is MY Time. I also feel so much more human inside. I feel sorry to see that disabled vet, instead of saying "here is a magazine" and thinking "that's what you get when you go to war." I love my family more than ever. I thought I did before. But the organization took away all your thinking and emotions in some way. Your first thoughts were meetings, field service, talks, elder crap and so forth. My life has slowed down, and now I truly bask in each moment. I feel that I have become a true man. A powerful man at that. I can look at the GB or any elder and say you are not going to tell me what to do. I will do what I want and on my terms. When I recently told two elders that I will serve Yahweh according to my conscience and no one is going to tell me how, I felt at that moment I could fly. I have become the man I truly am.

  when they came up with the overlapping generations new lite, they must have received alot of "where's the scriptural precedent?!

  so they came up with the account of joseph and his brothers to shut them up.

  still they are trying to make a round peg fit in a square hole to fit 1914 in the equation.

  This organization is based on 1914, not Christ. Without it, the GB lose all credibility. Of course that has already happened. But if they stop teaching this nonsense, then 1919 can't exist. Desparate times call for desperate measures.

  Deconstructing Splanes 'Generation' explanation

  at around 4 minutes into the september 2015 video splane said "for the man and the baby to be part of josephs generation they would have had to have lived at least some time during joseph's lifespan.".

  this is the lynchpin of the wt argument, that two lives must overlap to be considered the same generation.. let's take an example of twins who are born just a few minutes apart.

  obviously, these twins are the same generation as each other.

  Thanks for that link. Excellent information. I never realized that Christ not having a preexistence, is by no means an isolated thought in one man's mind. All sources, like the link you shared have the same story behind them as far as where the idea of preexistence originated. Now that I understand this thought, the Bible is far more enjoyable to read, and I have come to appreciate Yahweh and Christ even more. The truth of this matter is so exciting, I share it with whomever I can. It is one of the most profound truths I have discovered.

  since many things have changed, new religions, and religions changing doctrine, etc, for everytime a jw says nobody except jws, 1. refuse to go to war.

  2. refuse to be in politics 3. preach about god's kingdom.

  4. don't allow sin (dfing for fornication, etc).

  Restoration Fellowship is quite similar, minus the disfellowshipping. Not really a full blown church. Mostly internet. Matt 24:14 is his theme scripture for his radio program.

  guess the overlapping generation concept is difficult for most to comprehend.

  david spane does his best to explain it again.

  the cutoff date for this generation has now moved to 1992 (was once 1935), the year that fred franz died.

  Watchtower= Three legged stool: 1914,1919, and GB/Faithful slave concept. Knock 1914 out, it's doomed. So friends, we've got to keep this going for awhile. Maybe the younger generation will not study our history and find out we are a false prophet.
