For every individual species that JWs claim has some remarkably 'designed' feature or behaviour, they increase the required population of the 'ark'. This is particularly evident when they argue that some very specific species has a unique feature necessitating that each species is not merely part of a poorly defined 'kind'. (For example, see Awake! No. 1, 2017, p. 16.)

Indeed, Evans' own response was conditional: "If you include me in this vague rebuke...", though because there was purportedly some related dispute between the same parties on Reddit, his assumption would be more warranted than yours. It does seem to be the direct references to YouTube and Patreon that raised his ire in the little Twitter spat (Twitter being the highly collegiate platform that it is ). He could have made his response more clear and that is a matter for him, but his ambiguity doesn't justify you pouring fuel on the fire.Using the same logic, how do we even know they were referring to Evans?

And there's the problem. You still imagine I'm 'defending' someone. Your specific accusation was unfounded, and that it is all. But the underlying problem is the us-versus-them mentality that thrives so much within the 'ex-JW community', of which Evans and BCG both evidently share some guilt. That doesn't make either of them 'evil', it's just a product of their experiences. And unrelated to your claim that Evans directed his "screw you" comment at Shelly. -

I don't doubt there was some wholly unproductive separate exchange on Reddit. But unless Evans unambiguously said "screw you" to Shelly on Reddit, it lends no credence to the claim that the comment on Twitter was directed at Shelly rather than Champion.
