Yes, surface transmission is less common, but still possible.

we are encouraged to all, if possible, get the vaccinations.
if you don’t, we are told that we definitely could get the virus.
fair enough.. but what happens if you decide you aren’t going to get the shots?

Yeah, the point is you imagine a virus that can be suspended in the air for hours instantly dies as soon as it touches a surface. 🤦♂️

minimus:
Jeffro, if someone you thought was inferior to you made a similar argument, you would say prove it.
Ah… deciding my opinions again… back in reality, I don’t need to prove a specific hypothetical scenario has definitely happened, only that it is possible, which it is.
The truth is it’s not something you catch off a toilet seat.
Who said anything about toilet seats? Seems you’re trying to make a lame equivocation with sexually transmitted diseases, but that’s not how COVID is spread.

pistolpete:
Jeffro, do you not have a life?????
Making petty remarks on actually nothing important.
Also pistolpete:
I know 8 old duds in NY that will invite you to be part of their group.
😂 🤦♂️
I'm not willing to to mess around with you inconsequential reasoning's.
Yes, unlike your ‘very important’ snide remarks incorrectly associating my comments with JW ‘reasoning’, the possibility that you or your employees may have spread a virus to someone who could become severely ill or die is ‘inconsequential.’

minimus:
Jeffro do you want to prove that scenario?
What do you mean? You don’t think it’s a possible scenario? You think the virus can remain viable for an hour or so in the air but not on a tap (faucet) or door handle for a short while, long enough to be passed on? It’s not a complicated concept to understand.
Or do you mean the odds of pistolpete and his mates all getting infected (after one or more initial infections) but not spreading to anyone else, despite no regard for distancing measures?

I expected some kind of stupid response like that. But the reality is that if you and all your employees managed to get infected, it’s extremely unlikely that that’s where it stopped. There’s no evidence that deities exist, but we know viruses exist and how they spread exponentially in unisolated communities. So is your understanding of probabilities really that poor, or do you just feel the need to deflect with irrelevant insults?

Simon:
If you never get infected, then it’s impossiblethat you will transmit it to other people
Not quite impossible. For example, if someone touches a contaminated surface, shakes hands with someone else, then washes their hands, they may never get infected but the other person may.

pistolpete;
I never got the vaccine and neither did any of my workers. How many people did you and your employees go on to infect? How many did those people go on to infect? Almost certainly, you don’t know, and almost certainly, it’s not 0.
All of us got Covid and were sick for a day or two at the most. By sick I mean we got the sniffles and a slight headache. Blood test confirmed it.
for years everyone was told they had to get the flu shot.
because the flu was dangerous and it could even kill you.
now, hardly anyone talks about the flu or having a cold.
When did I say anything about ‘Trump voters refusing to vaccinate’? It is you who keeps categorically claiming that ‘red states have better outcomes than blue states’. I’ve said repeatedly that infection rates relate to factors other than political affiliation (such as, but not limited to, population density). Why do you continue to misrepresent what others have said? Maybe get off your tedious repetitive soapbox about New York and pay attention to what people actually say.
And just keep ignoring Maine (oldest average age in the country and nearly the lowest rates of infections and deaths) because the stats contradict your opinion.

And another gutless dislike on a post containing completely factual information. 😒 Some people on this forum are just pathetic. What do they think they’re achieving? 😂
