Further, when the Bible writers refer to 'Exile' what then is this period and how long is it?

So when reads the OT especially Jeremiah, Daniel. Lamentations, Ezra, 2 Chronicles.one reads no mention of an Exile and no mention of the 'seventy years of Jeremiah'?
🤦♂️ such obvious dishonesty. But it is indeed the case that when one reads in the OT about ‘exile’ and about ‘70 years’, it never mentions ‘70 years of exile’. Already provided links for details about all related issues, with full scriptural backing.

The Bible never mentions an exile of 70 years.
Honest readers can find answers to the most pertinent issues below:- Who would serve Babylon for 70 years?
- When did Babylon’s 70 years begin?
- Does serving Babylon mean exile?
- Does the Bible specify a Jewish exile of 70 years?
- What is the context of Jeremiah 29:10?
- What would happen when the 70 years ended?
- When was Babylon’s king ‘called to account’?
- When did the Jews return from Babylon?
- For how long did the land pay its Sabbaths?

Poor Jeffro. I was simply responding to your posted 'stand alone' comment
Haha. I suspected it was due to your poor comprehension skills. My response starting with “Notice how the apologists…” was obviously responding to both quoted statements, and there was no “‘stand alone’ comment”.. 😂

It seems poor 'scholar' is befuddled by all the facts that weigh up against his (Watch Tower's) flawed views.'scholar':

Zedekiah has nothing to do with the Gentile Times
--
False, Zedekiah as the last King of the Divided Monarchy plays a most pivotal role in the major fulfilment of Nebuchadnezzar's tree vision as this relates to God's Kingdom/Kingship as expressed through the rulers of the House of David sitting on the throne at the city of Jerusalem trampled on and removed by Nebuchadnezzer in 607 BCE covering a period of 'seven times' being fulfilled in 1914 CE.
Here, he has misattributed Rattigan350's comment to me. 🤦♂️

The fact that some Bible writers don't refer to particular kingdoms isn't a 'problem' at all. I simply clarified why some books weren't mentioned in the list I provided. 🙄Where a book is not listed above for a particular combination, the author does not specify any years of reign for that kingdom. For example, Isaiah does not specify any years of reign for a king of Israel.

That is a problem for you and not for me as our scheme of chronology works by filling out the contours of history and prophecy.

"Jehovah God"
by Jeffro inthe expression "jehovah god" has always seemed strange to me.
even when i was a jw, i found the term awkward, and never used it myself.
both words are nouns intended to be synonyms of each other, unless the name "jehovah" is being used as an adjective, which is also weird.

Disillusioned JW:
Regardless the post shows you had the idea about 607 BCE posted on the internet about 17 years ago.
Details about my personal life are not pertinent to the duration for which I have had information online about 607 BCE, and that specific duration isn’t relevant to the current content.
I was trying to figure out why you are so hyper critical about what the precise wording people use when writing about the Bible and the WT, and thus I did research and asked you questions about such.
Your research was inaccurate, and details about my personal life are none of your business. My insistence on correct details about Bible research (or any other subject with technical details) has nothing to do with my personal history with JWs. -

What is your point, other than some kind of idiotic witchhunt? You posted incorrect details about me, then tried to cover with the fact that some JWs decided to do something that I explicitly stated in writing that they were not to do. And the entirely separate early posts that mentioned my website didn't link to the wordpress domain.
Getting close to that complaint to Simon.

Disillusioned JW:
Partial update: Here is a forum topic created by you 16 years ago (according to this site) in which you posted a link to your page(s) about 607 BCE on the wordpress web site: https://www.jehovahs-witness.com/topic/126189/blogs (it is in the first post of that topic thread).
That forum post (neither my first post nor my first topic) also didn't mention anything about 'disassociation' or similar. And the website linked to was privately hosted, not on the wordpress domain.

Disillusioned JW:
Please tell me more about your background.
I will provide only what is sufficient to answer the questions raised that I choose to answer. From reading a number of your posts II suspect you were not raised from infancy by JW parents.
Not from birth, but my parents converted when I was very young. In one of your earliest posts on this site, perhaps your first post on this site, (one made 17 years ago) you announced that you officially disassociated yourself (via writing to the WT) from the WT's JW religion.
No part of that statement is accurate, and the fact that you say 'perhaps your first post on this site' is telling that you are making up some details (my first post on this site actually said, "Anyone can make a prophecy that must eventually occur. I hereby prophesy that tomorrow the sun will rise. Sometimes the Witnesses tout Revelation 11:18 as indicating that only now has mankind had the capacity to actually 'ruin' the Earth. They don't bring up Genesis 6:12 in the same sentence..") However, I did indicate in an early post (but not my first post), that I wrote to the Watch Tower Society explaining that their doctrines related to the Neo-Babylonian period are incorrect, and I directed that no announcement about me should be made, whether or not it included their terms 'disassociated, 'disfellowshipped' or similar. The post did not mention a wordpress site or any other website. I didn't move my website to wordpress until a few years later. In the same post you also directed readers to your page on wordpress about your research in regards to 607 BCE and the book of Daniel.
Not aware of a specific post where I referred to my wordpress page and also referred to disassociation, but since I didn't have a wordpress site in 2005, you are lying. The first post where I linked to my previous webhost was a few weeks after my first posts on this forum and didn't mention anything to do with 'disassociation' or anything similarWas it your research regarding 607 BCE versus 587/586 BCE and the book of Daniel which primarily caused you to decide to officially quit the JW religion?
607 BCE was an interesting topic to consider from a historical background to see how statements in the Bible and JW doctrines comport with reality, but it was not the reason for ceasing to be involved with JWs.For how many years were you a JW? I get the impression it was not likely for long.
I was raised in the denomination from early childhood and officially left when I felt that I could emotionally and financially support myself. The exact particulars are none of your business.Did you ever really believe in the JW religion?
No, I was never personally convinced that God exists, and therefore also not convinced of doctrines specific to JWs.Further attempts to dig up personal information about me may result in a complaint to Simon.
