Nope, nothing about 70 years of exile there. Try again.

How Will They End 1914 Teaching?
by EmptyInside ini'm sure this has been discussed, but 1914 has to go away.
instead of, the overlapping generation teaching, they should have just ditched 1914. .
they should have done that a long time ago with 1975. it's the last of the teachings in the charles taze russell era.. i'm thinking they just will stop talking about it, and it will be out of the mind of the rank and file loyal witnesses .

Jerusalem will be trampled by the nations until the Gentile Times are Fulfilled. — Luke 21:24
by Fisherman injerusalem will be trampled by the nations until the gentile times are fulfilled.
— luke 21:24 .
the bible book of luke records jesus prophecy of the last day with his parousia including the verse about the gentile times.

Fisherman:
I disagree.
So? You’re just wrong. ἔσονται means ‘will be’. The wording ‘even in English’ hardly matters.
Kingdom Interlinear Translation:
and they will fall to mouth of sword and they will be led captive into the nations all, and Jerusalem will be being trampled by nations, until what should be fulfilled and will be appointed times of nations.

But for Judah, a 70-year Exile was foretold as punishment for their sins being brought under the yoke of Babylon for 70 years in Exile.
No such statement or suggestion appears anywhere in the Bible.

So, please set out plainly what your interpretation of this passage is and where and if it differs from others.
Ho hum... 🙄 Jeremiah 25:8-14.
You know you’re a laughingstock, right?

You claim to have engaged in independent research so if such truly is the case then you would have come with something original or different
I’ve also independently added 2 and 2 to arrive at 4. It would be particularly odd to expect someone to arrive at a different answer given the same source material.

The only value in ‘engaging’ with you about Jeremiah 25:11 is to show readers how laughable the JW interpretation is. I don’t need to defer to Jonsson’s work; while his work is valid, I have analysed the original sources myself and arrived at the correct interpretation independently.

🤦♂️ Entirely wrong. The ‘gentle times’ when Jerusalem was ‘trampled’ (corresponding to the ‘great tribulation’) was the 3.5 years (42 weeks, 1260 days) from 66-70CE. The grammar in Luke indicates a period that hadn’t started yet in Jesus’ time. Jesus’ presence was explicitly expected to happen after that. Poor wrong JWs. 😂

Is it mathematically posible for Noah and his sons to have populated the earth?
by Fisherman inbible says flood occurred approximately 4000 years ago.
that is about *200 generations of breeding to get to the population on earth now.
keep in mind that the population increase is geometric.

Jesus also said Abraham was up in heaven, available to dispense drops of water to dead rich guys suffering in some hot place that totally isn’t hell. 😂 Maybe not everything Jesus (supposedly) said can’t be taken literally.
