no one I know believes that garbage about dinosaur bones. It's not Mormon doctrine, but comes from the radical Protestent teachings. If dinosaurs lived in an earth, they would have been resurrected on that Earth. All animals on all planets gain resurrection just as the animals we see on Earth.

Do you actually read your own comments. Basically you're saying, "No, we don't believe that crazy stuff. We just believe this other completely crazy stuff." This is probably even worse than the JW claim that they're not "creationists" because some creationists believe something slightly different to them.

No. That's rubbish, and entirely false etymology. There is in fact no etymological connection between "to rest" and "Sunday".

Sunday was adopted by Roman Christianity instead of Saturday to make an easier transition for the conversion of sun-worshipping pagans, and probably to be seen as different from Judaism.

A recent point By Cedars reinforced this when he discussed a new article about the birds being summoned to eat the flesh of those that don't make it through the big A and the scary birds of prey picture not good for kids.

Interesting. A JW left me a 'charming' message a couple of weeks ago saying that "[Jehovah] will feed you to the birds on armageddon". I wonder if that delightful expression of loving concern was inspired by the same image.

a jw friend of mine (who was one of my besties until i told him i didn't believe jw religion anymore) used to live in austria and for a while in the 70's was in the same congregation as losch.

they used to spend some time together in the ministry.

my jw friend tells me that he and losch used to often talk about how they believed the wt was wrong about certain interpretations of the bible, for example, how at the time the wt taught that the mustard tree used by jesus in an illustration represented an evil kingdom, and losch and friend didn't think that was right.
