Original question was: What happened to the flu or a cold? I have my answer. Perhaps Jeffro can offer his opinion? Thanks in anticipation.
I have fully answered the question in this thread already. Three times in fact.
for years everyone was told they had to get the flu shot.
because the flu was dangerous and it could even kill you.
now, hardly anyone talks about the flu or having a cold.

In fact, nationwide, 1 in 4 hospital workers
So, a minority. Good. Same WebMD page suggests Florida is bringing down the team. Maybe they should be more like Maine, with an older average population but one of the lowest COVID infection rates in the country.
Note <25 is not all minors
No, as a rough guess, about 20-30% of those wouldn’t be minors. Now, where have I seen that figure before… 🤦♂️ (Of course, some between 12-18 may now be vaccinated, and some from 18-25 won’t be, but it averages out.)
i knew a few witnesses who were very proud of the fact that their kids were homeschooled.
years ago, i would raise my eyebrows wondering why these families couldn’t simply integrate their kids with other “worldly” kids.
at this point in time, with so many theories being pushed on kids and their parents, i can see why parents, if they are qualified, could instruct their kids themselves.
Religious fundamentalists, new age nutters, ‘sovereign citizens’. Things like that.

I have never watched CNN. I think it’s only on paid subscriber services here anyway.

It can be done well, with a certain degree of dedication. But home schooling is often done for bad reasons by parents who are entirely unqualified, however well-intentioned.

What is the reason only 20-30% of people under 25 have been vaccinated?
I haven’t verified this unsourced assertion (or your other unsourced assertions in the same post), but assuming it’s true, probably because it includes the age bracket for children, who are less likely to be impacted by COVID and for whom not all vaccines have been granted approval for use.
Do you think 60-90% of parents…
Huh? That’s not even good arithmetic.

You left-wingers are so far removed from society at large, you spin up concocted stories about conservatives, not even knowing the majority of people you are blaming and which Biden is calling names, is not at all conservative, I’m an atheist, middle-of-the-road socially liberal libertarian, that is basically an Andrew Yang style Democrat (sans the UBI) aka a Democrat or very liberal Republican with a brain.
I do love a good hasty generalisation. 😂 Also, I’m not a left-winger.

Gee thanks. Wait… is that sarcasm? 😒
I’d hate to think you were just reverting to good ol’ ad hominem.

Also, some people related to the current administration happen to be shareholders in some of the patented technologies.
Of course they are 🙄, but that would not be a valid reason to dislike a testing method (ad hominem). I see I was way off with that ‘partisan’ comment. I do appreciate that you provided some helpful info though about the tests. It’s not great that you damage your credibility with your other nonsense.

Due to my position in a local hospital (yes, that's where I work), I always got priority blood tests to back up positive quick tests, they always came back negative even though I've tested positive with the PCR test 3 times now. This is partially what is currently driving a 30-40% refusal rate for the vaccine amongst healthcare workers.
Now it may be that you work in a hospital, but that doesn’t automatically make you an expert on all COVID tests (potential argument from authority fallacy). But getting a false positive COVID test result would not be a valid motivation to refuse a vaccination (though valid motivations do exist).
