The Last Day

[7-1-98 wt – martha said of her dead brother, lazarus: “i know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.” (john 11:24) how did she know that?

…she might even have learned this from jesus himself.

(john 6:39 - this is the will of him who sent me, that i should lose none out of all those whom he has given me, but that i should resurrect them on the last day.

Aside from there being no good reason to believe in any literal fulfilment of the claims in Revelation or the gospels about resurrection, the JW interpretation is especially flawed. The Bible doesn’t say that anyone is resurrected during the thousand years. It says the first resurrection before the thousand years is that of the great crowd - the people from all nations who serve as kings and priests for 1,000 years. The Bible also suggests the 144,000 are only resurrected after the 1,000 years, and it says they serve as kings without any mention of them being priests, and they rule with Jesus forever.

On copper it’s less than four hours. But on stainless steel and plastic, both of which are common on plumbing fixtures and many handles or utensils for other purposes, it can be up viable up to a couple of days if in a humid environment that doesn’t dry out quickly.

So the take-away message is to get vaccinated.

What do you mean? You don’t think it’s a possible scenario? You think the virus can remain viable for an hour or so in the air but not on a tap (faucet) or door handle for a short while, long enough to be passed on? It’s not a complicated concept to understand.

Or do you mean the odds of pistolpete and his mates all getting infected (after one or more initial infections) but not spreading to anyone else, despite no regard for distancing measures?

I expected some kind of stupid response like that. But the reality is that if you and all your employees managed to get infected, it’s extremely unlikely that that’s where it stopped. There’s no evidence that deities exist, but we know viruses exist and how they spread exponentially in unisolated communities. So is your understanding of probabilities really that poor, or do you just feel the need to deflect with irrelevant insults?
