What Does the Bible Really Teach…
wt claims that satan was thrown out of heaven in october 1914 precipitating ww!
and the end times.
a small problem with that is ww1 started on july 28th 1914 whilst satan was still in heaven picking his nose.. how did we not see this and waste years of precious life?

how do jws resolve these conflicting facts.. 1. no matter how you spin it, bible chronology calculates to circa 4000 bc for adam's creation.
i followed the trail many years ago and that's what it adds up to.. 2. the most cursory investigation of any branch of relevant science puts man's habitation on the earth as hugely earlier than that.
it's now so well-proved that anyone disputing it is guilty of wilful ignorance.
Disillusioned JW:
Likewise the Genesis flood accounts (there are two interwoven flood accounts, pertaining to the day of Noah) when interpreted as one global flood are also inconsistent with evolution.
It isn’t merely that the Flood stories in Genesis are “inconsistent with evolution”. The supposed timing of the event, associated genetic bottleneck, and subsequent species diversification would require evolution at an unprecedented rate.

I backtracked as well years ago and a few years back finally saw where Adam had been created outside the garden of eden- he was placed there after it was created, so that leaves me stymied as to how many years was Adam outside the garden, pushing back years of his creation into what time period?
Genesis 5:5 says Adam lived a total of 930 years (over 800 years of which is explicitly after leaving the garden), which would necessarily include any period before he entered the garden, so that period wouldn't 'push back the years of his creation'.

Yes, it was exaggerated. That was largely the point.
Positing 14,000 years instead of 6,000 years may as well still be like a snail's efforts to reach the moon by scaling a plant. Plus they are still stuck with a requirement of a rate of species evolution since the fictitious 'Flood' far in excess of anything posed by so-called 'evolutionists'.

Furthermore, they make the Bible based date of the creation of Adam a little bit closer to what modern science science says is when our species evolved into existence.
I guess that’s technically true. In the same way that a snail climbing a plant stalk gets closer to the moon.

Every relevant field of science indicates that anatomically modern humans have existed for about 2-3 hundred thousand years.
Aside from that, based on the stories in the Bible, Adam was created in either 3955 BCE or 4168 BCE (the discrepancy between the first option and the year asserted by Jehovah's Witnesses is a result of their misrepresentation of Babylon's '70 years'; for more information, see here). Which of those two years is chosen depends on whether it is claimed that the Israelites were 'enslaved in Egypt' when the descendants of Jacob - aka Israel - were supposedly made slaves after living in
Egypt for some time (which never actually happened, and the
lifespans indicated do not provide enough time) or when 'Ishmael made fun of Isaac' (as JWs and various other groups do even though it is asinine because the story depicts a brief incident when Israelites didn't even exist yet).

looks like those controlling such world wide campaigns have more in store for the humanity.
the powerful organization world economic forum says that the covid pandemic has started the digitalization and surveillance of everything.
Kosonen:
It would be nice if it then fulfilled the prophecy about the "sword stroke".
🤦♂️ The ‘sword stroke’ of the ‘beast’ reflected the first-century superstition that Nero either did not actually die or that he would return after his death. The subsequent two-horned ‘beast’, Domitian, was then said to exercise Nero’s authority at the time Revelation was written in the last decade of the first century.
Relevance to anything happening now is precisely zero.

this is my take on may 2022 watchtower on the seven headed beast and its connection to the 4 beasts of daniel 7. what do you think?.
Vidqun:
One just doesn't know what motivates people, and I'm glad I'm not the judge, deciding a person's fate. … That's why I believe Jesus is a good choice as judge, because he has experience being human and will be able to sympathize with our plight.
Special pleading fallacy. Literally every human has had experience being human.

Plus, he’s dead, so that rules out any adverse judgement.
