The other KMs for this year can be found at reexamine. either at:http://www.reexamine.org/OKM, or
--VM44
Thanks -- I've already gotten them. I was just wondering if the latest one was up anywhere yet, since there's been some discussion in various threads about the Revelation book being re-studied. Cathy (of the "relieved I never was one" class)

Hi,
I've been searching the threads, but haven't been able to find out if a link to a scan of the July 2006 KM has been posted yet. Is there one?
Thanks,
Cathy
i can remember studying the isaiah books 1 & 2 back-to-back.
during this time i simply never wanted to go to the book study.
it was all so repetative and boring.
I figured out, after reading Crisis of Conscience and trying to read In Search Of Christian Freedom, why I could not understand his "deep" books for the society. Ray will say one thing three different ways in a sentence. A talented editor could help him hone it down to one per sentence.
Oh, I agree! Ray Franz, God love him, could really use one or two impartial editorial eyes looking at his work. Then maybe ISoCF would be half the size and more readable. That wouldn't affect its "depth" -- it could only make his points more effective.
Back to the thread: Have there been any changes in the Revelation book since it was first released?

i have deliverance here...stange how the book kinda goes with the movie.... also found 8 more at a flea market...but they wanted $12.00 each.
i got a kick out of the illustrations of the devil and the wt emblem on the back is kinda spooky.
I've got all of the "Rainbow" series, plus Comfort for the Jews. I still haven't bought Millions Now Living Will Never Die, but I hope to soon.
I have a bunch of booklets, too, but I haven't taken inventory lately on how many of those are in my collection. I know it's over 20.
I've only read a little here and there. What I'm most interested in is various editions or printings of the books. The Harp of God went through changes in cover style and content from the time of first publication until it went out of print. As a bookseller and book collector, these things interest me.
In fact, if anyone has any publication trivia (cover styles, bindings, misprints, etc.), I'd love to hear about it. I'd really like to know what that odd coating on the Rutherford books is -- the stuff that comes off if it gets wet. It seems to be almost a type of paint laid over the cloth.

my father was and elder and i remember him coming home from elder's meetings telling my mother all.
we lived in a small house so all could hear through the heating vents what was happening at the kh.
i learned more than i ever cared to know about at a young age.
This is a lot different from my experience with confession in the Catholic Church. Not only is the priest unable to discuss what you tell him under the seal of the confessional with ANYONE else, he can't even discuss it with YOU unless you give him permission.
I didn't realize this, even as a cradle Catholic. One time I wanted to discuss something I'd mentioned during confession just the previous day, and the priest said, "Refresh my memory." At the time I thought he was oddly forgetful -- not a usual thing for him. Now I know better.
Are there no penalties for elders who break confidentiality?
Cathy
who here had ever heard of this so-called 'doctrine' of "theocratic warfare" when you were a jehovah's witness?
who has not heard of the so-called doctrine now that you are an apostate?
so why have witnesses never heard of 'doctrine', yet apostates seem to promote it as the last word on witness standards of honesty, integrity and decency?
Okay. I've got a zipped file with jpgs of the pages. It was a large-format magazine, so I had to do the pages in pieces. I stitched page 1 together, but had problems doing it with the other two and wound up with a fuzzy mess. You'll just have to read pages 2 & 3 in halves. :-)
i've been visiting this site for awhile now and have been fascinated by many of the posts.
i have an aunt in arkansas who has been trying for decades to get me into the fellowship of the watchtower.
in this course of time i have become very interested in the wts and their publications, but have yet to fall into their system of thought.. i for the past couple of years have attempted, unsuccessfully, to have them send me the awake and watchtower publications.
That's "send," not "sent". Gosh, I hate when I do that ...

I operate Old Lighthouse Books, an online bookstore specializing in used, rare, and out-of-print books on religion, including Watchtower literature. I have other subjects, too, but that's the main focus of the store -- "Old Light."
If you have specific issues of the WT or Awake! magazine in mind, I have some duplicates that I could sent for free (just one or two, please). I also have a lot of the more recent hardcover books that have underlining or are otherwise beat up. I don't have a list made up. Just send me a list of what you're looking for. I would be willing to send individual titles to people who need them for research.
All I ask is a contribution toward the postage, payable to [email protected] on PayPal.
