"Brother" A in cong. brings an unbeliever in and marries her immediatly. They get divorced. He(A) then marries another "sister" only to cheat on her with his fleshly brothers(B) wife. The innocent brother(fleshly B) finds out and holds him(A) at gun point threatning to blow him into gods kingdom before sheriff shows up and arrests him(B). While this is going on brother(A) wife is having an affair with brother(C) so that she can get back at her husband(A). Well brother(C) wife is the sweetest thing on the earth and literally could not take the emotional pain and had a heartattack (she was young) and died. Well brother(C) and the wife of brother(A) get married and are doing good in the cong. Brother(B) went nuts and left the truth. Brother(B) is doing good in the truth eventhough he stole his fleshly brothers wife. Whole thing is bizzare.

What you really need to do is have a disclaimer at the bottom that the info presented may NOT be printed without expressed auth from you.

Yes, if I were you I would pursue a lawsuit based on libel. You need to talk with an attorney. Perhaps a cease and desist letter to them.

Armageddon within our life time
by sinis ini was just wondering how revelations makes no sense (coupled with jw doctrine).
if armageddon/gt is the worst of all times why are those who are alive at the time subject to a possible eternal death if they fail?
millions of people in the past who have died will not have to "tempted" with the gt so how fair is it for a group of people who just happened to be within that generation.

Millions of people in the past who have died will not have to "tempted" with the GT so how fair is it for a group of people who just happened to be within that generation. So if it happens in this "generation" and someone has a moment of weakness and therefore is deserving of eternal death, how fair is that? Makes no sense to me.
Lately, I have been trying to wrap my mind around the concept that an all loving god has not intervened in mans affairs for rightousness sake. If my child wronged me I would not hold his offspring + infinity accountable for his mistake. Why does god do that with man? Is it a case where he is trying to make a point with the rebel angels and man gets screwed in the interem?

How about this suggestion: Tell your father, who by the way is head of the household, to tell this sister that a few things is permissible but she has overstepped her boundary and will need to pack some things up. Jesus, people, this is your house and yet you are trying to get her to leave and or pack things up by "planting" shit or making up stories? Just simply tell her to pack up some crap or she can find another place to stay, no more, no less - uncomplicated and simple.

Uh, why are you even confessing your sins to another human? Isn't that what prayer is for. Man cannot forgive you of your sins so why pour your heart out to someone when all they will do is penalize you with there man made rules? Apply jesus councel. Go to the sister and ask for her forgiveness, and when she has forgiven you make your "offering" (prayer) to God. Shwo me in the bible where you must confess to a man? Sounds a little Catholic if you ask me...

Will DA'ing myself be better for my children's future?
by indoubt inbackground
i have been fading away, and considered fully "inactive" for over 2 years now.
my wife is still a very active jw, and she brings my 2 children (5 & 3) to the meetings and service on a regular basis.

If you DA yourself there will be pressure upon your wife and kids to distance themselves from you by the Elders. In fact they may start putting ideas in there mind that the best way to resolve the situation (AKA as "abuse") is to leave you. What you really need to do is get your kids into after school activities or find "other" kids for them to play with. The meetings are basically a support group for your children as they probably only have the witness kids as friends. Thus if you pull them away BEFORE setting up outside associates they will only see that as you being in the wrong. Get them involved in other activities that they enjoy and soon enough you will be able to ween them off the meetings, in fact they may not want to go anymore. I would also get closer to your wife (if you are not already) and show her that you love her (which I'm sure you do) because once you DA yourself or even fade in her eyes you will be scum and bird fodder (subtle hints provided by the local elders). Really the best thing to do is get yur family into something else they enjoy to occupy there time. Get closer and show them that you are not the "evil" person the WTS will paint you out to be.

WTBTS and their stand on Medical Marijuana?
by BrendaCloutier in.
i'm curious what the current wtbts stand is on medical marijuana, especially in states and countries where it is legal.
if not the herb itself as medicine, then their attitude towards marinol (thc pill) and satiex (thc + other cannabinoids in a spray).. i am an oregon medical marijuana patient, and i know there are a couple other medical marijuana patients around.

Are you sure no one else will be invited? Sounds like the PO or some other "helping" elder will be there at the dinner to "encourage" you. More than likely they will be getting a feel for where you REALLY stand.

Need Advice Regarding Maryland Pedophile Ex-Elder
by Saoirse ini heard some disturbing news and i'm not sure what to do about it.. there was man who was an elder in the pasadena, maryland congregation for many years.
i'll call him "randy pervamini".
there were always whispers going around about him that he was secretly gay.

Why not go down to the Police Station or Sheriffs Office and talk to them. Tell them exactly what you outlined in your post including that if your suspicions are true this man may be guilty of many other similar crimes. If “Randy’s” crime was related to child molestation and it was reported to the police then the issue stops right there, otherwise the police might be inclined to do some investigation. That is my advice.
I agree. In this life there are two people - those who do and those who do not. Sometimes to do nothing brings more pain and mental distress in the future, especially if you learn later on that your hunch was right and the person harmed another child. Sometimes it can be hard decision.
