Need some help!!!!! URGENT

my wifes mother recently passed away, and it has devastated my wife.

the family, who are not witnesses, but out of respect for the deceased, and who was a jw, had the ceremony at the kingdum hell, which almost made me throw up... last time i ever step foot in that place.

i felt like a vampire on the threshold of a church, as i looked into the interior hall feeling my skin burn and start to smoke... anyways, as i have posted on here before a friend of my wife, has in the past, sent her (my wife) emails about going back to the kingdumb hell.

I have successfully pulled my wife away, but now I find that due to this "friend" now sending emails like hot cakes throughout the day, my wife may be swinging the other way and actually considering going back!!!! I am pissed! Since my wife and I share a common email address I can read her emails, as well as she can read mine. Should I email this "friend" back and explain that I DO NOT want them fucking with my wifes head any longer, and to STOP the preaching? Thoughts? We have a great life now that we are out, and this bitch (sorry) is trying to suck my wife back into this cult at her weakest moments!!!!!! Thanks!

I agree Fernando, perhaps your clarification is what I meant, and tried to explain. The only thing I personally do not agree with is the Bible or any other religious book. I believe in myself, much like Buddhist teachings and trying to be a better person. I don't need the fairy tales of heaven, a savior, messiah, jesus, god, etc.

further to my post the other day re: jw study who had a conversation with me on facebook and started questioning his beliefs, he has now contacted me back....will post the quotes underneath.. his response:.

yes i did tell some brothers how confused i was about the information you sent me, they said does it matter where charles russel is burried, i aggree its abou god not man, and as for peadophillia in past yes it did happen in congregations, but that happens everywhere and they said they did not promote it obviously and that people leave when they done that dark act, they said that the police have been employed in past, there are no more cases i now of, again i dont blame god for this he will sort them out...havent been for a while now , at the end of the day there is lots of stuff on net and as long as i am doing it whole from my heart no one judges me but god, i have so many beautifulll friends in the truth, i believe jehova does have a body of people in the world , you do what you will and all the best i just want to do well and all the religions are in wars and do what they want , i am up for 1 god 1 tounge and not doin waht the rest proclaim to do and be there own gods.... its just that all this came out of nowhere , our chats and was damaging to god , i have no idea what you believe in but your messin with fire if you ask me , dont get lost in apostasy and youtube as its a minefield of miss trust.

thats my view, i hardly know you well at all and you keep contacting me asking what they say etc , i too tired to feel lowe cos you dont really say anything good about god you just seem to want to deter me, not once have you mentioned love peace , jesus , just on about me being mislead, you catch my drift, dont mean to come across rude as i am a happy man , but i get your point how you feel and i have always known fun love great friendships and a relation ship with yaweh,jehova etc so shall we just talk footy and world as its clear you can damage my spiritual health as we not talking about good stuff just jw people are mislead when we should be in union regarding the coming of jesus famines wars, disease im gagging for it to come.. my response:.

Sounds like your guy has thrown his hands into the air as with regards to life and wants desperately for someone else to guide him and make decisions for him. Sad indication that your buddy may be emotionally coming undone. I would focus on that aspect, maybe he just needs to make sense of life, which can be hard, and needs everyday advice to get by and be happy...

Rose Mary Sheldon, the co-author of "Operation Messiah: St. Paul, Roman Intelligence and the Birth of Christianity," presented her thesis last week at the International Spy Museum in Washington.

She suggests that Paul may have faked his conversion on the road to Damascus so he could infiltrate Christian congregations and report to Rome on suspicious elements in synagogues across the empire.

I have read tons of documents that lend credence to this. Has anyone ever stopped to think about what Paul actually talks about and what the Gospels preach? The Gospels are gnostic in nature, the Pauline texts are more a letter of the law, obey, etc. Why did the 12 appointed by the christ himself not forge the remainder of the texts? Why is it we read of Paul on the road to Damascus finding the Christ and being appointed??????

Once again you're quoting PAULINE texts. Funny how Jesus needed Paul to explain what he really meant. Sort of like the JW's need the Faithful and Discreet Slave to explain what God and the Bible really mean...

^^^ If you refer to the Pauline diatribe, than you are correct. However, Pauline books are 180 degrees out from the Gospels... Paul was a Roman officer used to take Christianity from Gnostic roots to a more structured, controllable, Pauline modern Christanity. Its not BS, and I have read up on the subject. If you take the Gospels ONLY, you realize that Jesus DID NOT remove the law. Why anyone gives credence to the remainder of the Pauline texts (who by the way is the author of the vast majority of NT texts...hmmm) is beyond me...

I was reading an interesting book talking about circumcision and how it was NOT Jewish in origin

it may have actually been egyptian (perhaps much older), but the jews borrowed the tradition from the egyptians.

it was a way for a small priest and ruler minority to alter their physical appearance in line with the "gods".
