  Depression...

  The religion made me miserable and caused anxiety until the day I left. Maybe the misery could be termed depression from the first day I set foot in one of those hate halls. I just attributed it to something out of my comfort zone (religion) and was focused on learning about God --- OMG!

  as some of you may recall, on february 11, 2011 the united states court of appeals ruled that most gated communities in puerto rico violated the constitutional rights of jehovahs witnesses by not allowing them unobstructed access to homes and thereby thwarting their right to worship freely.

  not sure how the watchtower was able to fool the us court of appeals, but there you have it... the next step in this judicial process is to determine how this needed to happen.. to that end, the us court of appeals has recently ruled that those gated communities in puerto rico that didnt have security guards (i.e.

  : have a tele-entry key pad instead) were to hire at least one security guard who would be positioned at the entrance for the purpose of allowing jehovahs witnesses free access to the community.

  This is scary news. I know they aren't allowed in gated communities in Vegas but somehow get in completely gated communities via someone they know. Will this ruling be enforced other places? The Ninth Circuit would have to lay down the law here but I've always thought it strange they didn't have access. This Puerto Rico ruling is not good.

  What the Watchtower needs to do to survive.

  drop its teaching on paradise earth.. the primary issue facing the watchtower results from it's teaching that members will never die, but live forever on this earth in paradise.

  this teaching is cause of most of the doctrinal failures, and will be its eventual demise.. the promise of never dying is one of the foremost motivations for people that join the religion, and the message of living forever in paradise is compelling.

  however, it is also the watchtower's achilles heel, as it forces false predictions of the nearness of the end.
