That's a tough government to pull down pretty powerful unless the military turns against them. Maybe initially people will stop buying their junk but after awhile they'll reason it's cheaper and fall back into line.

Rumor of Religion wanting to contact Inactives
by LongHairGal ini saw a post on reddit from somebody claiming to be an elder that the jw religion wants to contact all inactives.. some of the responses indicate that some were contacted or had close friends or relatives being asked for their contact information.
some of these people have been out of the jw religion for many years and have moved on.
the ones contacted said the jw informed them about cancelled meetings (as though they would care).

LHG - ahh you make me laugh because I was consistently being pulled to the side (in the back room) to write checks. I was so brainwashed I didn't think twice and considered it the Israeli god's (somebody's god) request. I wouldn't give any of them a thin dime now - not true if I actually knew they were trying to work and be productive or needed food, etc., as in aiding a neighbor - the good Samaritan is just being a decent human being. It would be tough now to help a JW but I realize some can't help their mental state.
As my husband says - cult members won't be burning any telephone wires down connected to my house -- (a) they don't like what I have to say, and, (b) I'm more than happy to duke it out legally; husband has told me this since I left re/being harassed - won't happen; (c) I want my money back. Oh, and (d) I'm on private property that they're not allowed on. I do want my money back and any dipping in water trauma recovery fees plus legal fees - they lied to me but stupid is as stupid does, right!

latest status is that it's serious, probably isn't going to be contained and most large companies are making contingency plans, cancelling large events etc... which i don't think would happen if it was just people being alarmist.
the incubation period means it may have already spread further and infected many more people than are currently known, so expect jumps in the numbers over the coming days and weeks.. tracking.

it was a long process for me, as a mind controlled born in, things i simply did not agree with, or knew were downright wrong, that built and built, and, eventually i woke up, after 58 bloody years in !.

Yes - I didn't buy the negatives re/face masks - they were preserving for the health/medical workers. I hope I'm wrong. I couldn't find any to buy much less hoard. I have a few for painting when using the mineral spirits/paint thinners and cleaning brushes.

Trust me - I knew no one who thought Michele Obama was close to being beautiful. Clearly, no class act that looked beautiful in her clothes like Jacqueline Kennedy, Nancy Reagan. Laura Bush always looked classy, also. Melania has raised the bar. She could wear a Walmart dress and be stunning.

I certainly wouldn't make fun of President Trump's hair when some have looked like - anyway I think you can figure it out. Wonder how many First Ladies have had to wear wigs because of horrific hair - amazing losers can open their mouth at a time like this about a successful leader compared to what we're use to. Not a good subject to venture into. Take your best shot - guess you did but many see things differently.
