Yeah - if you die from the hiccups it's documented as Covid 19 and the medical/coroners are confirming same. Politics on all levels in full force now although citizens followed the rules to flatten curve as they were told. It's so scary people are afraid to go to the ER at hospital afraid they'll be diagnosed with COVID if they have a cold. My husband had a red eye - I was rattled it was the fear mongering conjunctivitis eye that possibly could be COVID 19. Having received so many horror calls from clients - businesses, COVID fear - elderly ones passing on hospice care and not having COVID it was like dragging little kid to doctor - wasn't happenin'! Eye specialists just reopening and finally taking ER appointments, praise the gawds! This is crazy and this was minor and not COVID related per specialist.

Weekly Meeting Importance Being Reduced - Your Thoughts?

i am pimo, but now have 40+ years of being a jw as i was raised in a 3rd generation family of witnesses and continue to fake my way through things - fading as i can.. for the vast majority of my time as a jw, the meetings were the central focus for all jws to get teaching, association, information and so on.

nothing was more important than being at the meetings!

over the last 20 years starting with the elimination of the weekly book study in homes and continuing down to today - my opinion is that the value/purpose of the weekly meetings continues to be diluted or minimized.

I think they've got the JWs afraid of their shadow with COVID to go beyond their back door. JWs will jump with glee to return to the halls once COVID dies out and consider it a special blessing from their private god. I can't imagine them wavering on their WT fantasy faith wagon - at least the elderly but I'm not around elderly JWs to know.

Where's the proof that meetings are being cut down/reduced? With zoom they can hound the JWs daily for more halls (goon squad's real estate monopoly money). Last we heard they were keeping the JWs busy, all dressed up and tuned into zoom.

Commiefornia is my home state and I pay taxes on properties there. The state is broke because it's a nanny state and I'm sure needs a federal bail out. Like NY many in Commiefornia are fleeing and heading to Arizona, Nevada, Utah and Colorado. Wish they'd all skip NV. Hollywood money is made off of residents in every state in the union as the big tech money is. They should be paying federal taxes big time.

Fossil Pelosi's plan isn't even about the people but for her millionaire/billionaire buddies but the ignorant will fall for it. It really is the United States of Socialism. Fear/panic with Coronavirus is one big chance/opportunity for the commies.

Will Governor Cuomo be the Next President?

trying to put politics aside (even though that won't really work), but ny governor andrew cuomo is blowing the other politicians out out the water (orange man [trump] and the lizard [biden]).. i don't know if cuomo has a usb port in the back of his head plugged into a hard drive but the guy speaks, analyzes and talks coherently.

the orange man always passes difficult questions to someone else.

the lizard can't comprehend what the question is but tries to answer something.. cuomo comes out with facts, analysis and direction on what needs to be done.

when i was looking at prepping back in the 90s i was told by several elders that we needed to just rely on the org and jehovah and not prep.

i started to put away vacuum sealed bags of rice beans and spices anyway.

now they have this go bag crap.

Apparently there were no deaths on the beaches during spring break - those heathens partying in all that natural Vitamin D and fresh ocean air. Good thing Bozo Cuomo wasn't running Florida. Yeah - delusions are common among the liberals. Not true. We have several NY lifers who've migrated west and democrats at that. One couple retired but not the majority. They're not all leaving the party and that's great - there needs to be a good balance.

Unimaginable although he loves his mama but not too concerned about the welfare of others. Despicable pig! He and his bully bro on fake news have certainly been revelatory lately. He seriously needs to make his money as a meatball/pasta food critic -- (bum pay -- he's made enough millions off the back of taxpayers being a political lifer/corruption and horrific, dismal, failure, investments, for the state just not for him, however). How many thousands are fleeing - we've already heard of a few families and NYers know of a mass exodus as soon as people earn a paycheck. This has been going on for past few yrs. -- these are democrats fleeing. California/NY - people leaving great jobs behind to get out of liberal hell.
