Governor needed to give owners/employees of bars time to shut things down/secure for the 'indefinite' reclosing. This surge in cases isn't easy. -

millie210 - I KNOW! Everyone I know is so tired of this. We can't remain recluses forever and I've been in enough scary situations the past couple of weeks - I think there was a week that we were feeling a bit confident to resume a hair trim, pedicure, etc., and then the bottom fell out here in the west. I'm not blaming the well-intentioned protestors but our health district indicated yesterday infections are a result of them - doesn't take much for this horror to spread.
Testing is on being done on a mammoth scale compared to previously and I hope the younger generation are cautious.

I'll not be the crepe hanger here - death rates are trending down - way downwards like 90% daily deaths (level of death we haven't seen since March!) but we don't hear much about it or weren't 5 days ago. The younger ones are getting it now - under age 35 - which is not good but, hopefully, the governors learned re/elderly/vulnerable from negligent bozo Cuomo/NY and others.
Hopefully - it's herd immunity starting to develop and thousands of young/curious people getting tested and it's a good sign and death rates dropping. Some experts indicate this is what happens when a viral pandemic WINDS DOWN. The more weakened version of the VIRUS becomes the dominant version - it attenuates. Excluding NY, nursing home deaths are at least 55% and most likely much more -- NY still won't reveal an honest number skating around only listing deaths in the actual nursing homes but most NH deaths are in hospital as they're sent there (for brief time unless they die before returned to NH) - quite a mess.
Who knows if, in fact, the virus has weakened but hope so. The younger ones have stronger immune systems and few end up in ICU/intubated, etc., compared to older people. Also the outbreaks in southwest/west pose huge risk to those over age 35/40.

Dictators/authoritarianism seems to run roughshod everywhere.
They've determined public lavatory facilities (and residential) 'possibly' pose serious risks when flushed -- so I read somewhere. So much for drinking 80 gallons of water daily and out doing errands - always good to avoid those situations if possible but they are necessary in case needed.
Tax payers here would never be refunded!

I’m Seeing Some Trump Fatigue Out There
by minimus ini’ve heard from a few trump voters that they are getting tired of the whole trump thing.
one person yesterday said he lies.
another person said she hears from her clients in her business that the constant drama and push back from all sides against trump is fatiguing.. i remind people that before this worldwide pandemic, we had the best numbers in jobs.

Dems will DESTROY the country if anyone attempts to block their wealth machine/corruption as the country has witnessed first hand - not that there was ever any doubt. -

REALLY!!
Yeah - and yet no one else has stood up to the mob or cared enough about the country. Dems will destroy a person who blocks their wealth machine. I think there's just a wee tad more involved re/US gov't vs. plumbers/electricians/DUH!

That's just your opinion. Obama fit in with all the mob because he was part of it all. How in the world do liberals continue to back the mob and it's political thugs! Ahh, yes, the end justifies the means.

Yeah - Trump was stuck with swamp DC clique who've worked up the ladder and it's politically tight. Talk about a White House full of corruption and covert spies. Even if not leftover from thug Obama it's still a swamp of professional politicians. He's dealing with dynamics like none other and thus all the changes. Change is good - very, very, challenging and difficult.

Earlier in your career -- even if only a decade ago you wouldn't believe the change. We hear this from every type of business owner. I've been hearing horror stories and changes in work ethics since 1980s - progressively worse today. I also know of some who are very industrious. I don't know what the dynamics are out there or the culprit other than the fact parents don't want their kiddos to work as hard (gawd forbid) as they have or do. I use to be able to hire great people in so cal and central cali compared to NV. If you had any construction done in NV (simple like a paint job) you were in trouble - it was solid in Calif at that time. Today, construction defect work is a full time business for attorneys/expert witnesses all over the continental United States.
I know my generation is guilty of wanting to make life perfect for kiddos. After reading the Millionaire Next Door I realized everyone I knew fit the book's description even people who have very little and work extra jobs to hand out to their children - it's normal for a loving, responsible, parent. We're a dulged nation compared to decades ago and thankfully we all have more - hard to balance it out.

Link doesn't work - don't bother to resend unless others are interested. I can't get the visions of the Minnesota case out of my head or the fact all the police are killed on a regular basis. Police are in great danger and apparently more than police need to be ordered to wear body cams.
