by LV101 ini know nothing about hackers but overheard local radio commentator crediting hackers for information about the wikileaks saga and how he loves hackers and how they were responsible for the facts being released about scientology, also --- and many other matters.
why are they not helping us w/facts about how the watchtower is destructive/dangerous --- media coverage (more) would be excellent.
recall metatron posted how successful one man can be (referring to the wikileaks' incident) and it looks like hackers are the dream ticket.

What made you leave?? What were your core reasons?

what were your positions, responsibilities and at what point did you know you had to leave?

nothing made sense -- no love, the EVIL, dirty cliques, GOSSIP, jealousy, envies, heavy burdens heaped on members and if the good news was so important and the end so close --- why the hay weren't they broadcasting on radio/tv. a couple of them seemed quite knowledgeable w/bible and this was impressive and hung on trying to learn. hated the clone brainwashing -- type of house/where to shop to fit in. being hounded to help losers out (pioneers) who were too lazy to work.

KM (Elder School) Brief Highlights
by XBEHERE inbesides the usual drivel there were a couple interesting things.
1. an entire 1 hour discourse on helping our children become little innocent martyrs for the wt via.
their flawed and unreasonable blood doctrine.

the base to sustain their power/prestige is the uneducated and poor. they rake in millions per week off the poor when you consider the numbers game.
heard a talk yrs. ago if the avg. poor member donates $1.00 per day (an estimate) that's six/seven million a day, and the contributions from the very few wealthier members being minimal in comparison. even a buck a week from the poor adds up to 6-7 million a week and the wealthier contributions like icing on the cake.
they can't be too worried about a shortage of elders and members.
one elder indicated to me (i was talking about pentecostals and their strictness (no holidays, some) bla bla, and how successful their growth in the world is -- and he said that people like strict rules --- it's what they are looking for --- omigawd!!!

How families were broken up by wifes becoming JWs back in the 50s
by life is to short inthere is this sister in the hall i went to who is in her mid 80's.
she is very active and pioneers, etc.
well when i was still going to the meetings and out in service she would talk about how she came into the "truth.

i was in religion short time (actually attending couple yrs. but brainwashed from publications -- talk about naive/stupid coming out of a very toxic family) but i became physically ill trying to deal w/all the hypocrisy and crazy dogma - OMIGAWD! scripture & w/tower recaps didn't click and i couldn't put the pieces together even though i was at their mercy to learn the bible --- like adding any additional burdens (that's all they do, it's a business for profit) and they were chosen as the truth and dealing w/the miserable people --- WTF! nothing made sense to me.
this cult needs to be EXPOSED.

WT Society wants Elders to Conceal Information to Psychiatrists- Elders Bk.
by flipper inmy wife and i have read carefully through chapter 5 of the new elders manual when we do our " personal study " in bed on saturday mornings !
so without further delay , notice this quote from the new elders manual, " there are times when an emotionally distressed christian may seek professional help.
whether a christian or his family pursues treatment from psychiatrists , psychologists, or therapists is a personal decision.

what i've heard (and read on this board), many witnesses are on prescription drugs for depression, etc., and how many more self medicate w/alcohol. if they did have onboard psychological/psychiatric services the docs would have locked in security. (i realize they would never have use for professionals to help their flock inside).
sounds like they keep the mental health field professionals busy already unless they obtain meds through their general practitioner.

I stopped going to the Kingdom Hall
by FloridaPerry inin late 1976, i had just turned 17. everyone in my family dropped out over the next few years, except a a brother who has been going strong his whole life.
my mother went back a couple of years ago and i live in the same town as she does and she keeps talking to me about it.
reading this forum, it sure brings back a lot of memories.
