Dear Sylvia --- thank you for your reply and peace and love to you. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
What concerns me is the fact that Jesus only shared the wine/bread with his disciples and, obviously, it's not something to be taken lightly since it represents life. The scripture makes it clear and the fact the Memorial is only extended to those anointed is confusing to me --- not that I put my trust in men who all seem to have a different interpretation. Thanks again for your knowledge.

AGuest - Shelby what is the right way (thanks, OUTLAW, great idea) if one is not going to the hall. strange i've been thinking one should probably go to this but if you aren't partaking it seems wrong --- and, i realize i'm not part of that heavenly calling --- plus i don't want to be "hounded" and need any problems with that place. not that there'd be problems.
i like Lovelylil's idea about wine/bread at home to celebrate but don't want to be jumping ahead of myself.

i have noticed are more angrier then when i was a child in the 90's and that they seem more uptight.what changes have you seen?.

they caught up with me at the meeting today which was the first one i have been to an a couple months.
i also missed the co's visit and the circuit assembly and havent been out in fs in 8 months or more.
i only went today for my wifes benefit i personally have a hard time listening to thier one sided warped view of the world.
what's the mafia's line -- stay close to your friends and closer to your enemies. i'd play them along (most of them are doing the same probably and everyone is inside w/their own agenda) until you have a good game plan. you don't owe them your truth or anything else.
i ask the question because all of a sudden i am getting bombarded by my mother and other family members to "take my wife's hand and run back to jehovah before it is too late"!!
i am getting e-mail with screen shots of the un website (http://www.un.org/en/peace) stating "peace and security", being told that this could likely be the last memorial celebrated and that the door to the ark will be closing soon.
has anyone else been seeing an up-tick in these "prodigal son" appeals from jw friends and family?

Snoozy --- sounds like you know her game and i can understand your trying to help her anyway you possibly can. Too bad these emergency rooms don't call in psychiatrists so people can get real help but i guess until they're ready it would be a waste of time.
you certainly aren't in denial about her and it must be very distressing to you. life is so difficult and i guess we can compare it to having family members in the cult gambling their life away on the hope of paradise tomorrow and getting their addiction satisfied weekly.
