  brizzy -- For-real thing!!! WOW -- thanks for update. I'd read a few posts about it being all a big fake and was thinking we were certainly gullible. Watchtower obviously knows their files have been busted whether they're ever "decrypted." Maybe this alone will cause them to correct their stance on pedophilia and protect children.

  Would You Listen To A Prayer From A JW And Say Amen If They Said A Prayer In Your Presence?

  my mom has had visits from various jws and they have asked her if they could say a prayer before they left.

  i respectfully listened to the prayers while i was visiting and might silently say amen if i felt the prayer was appropriate for my mom.. i'm just curious, how would you handle this type of situation?.

  I think I'm ok saying 'Amen' because I feel there are witnesses diligently striving to worship God and be xtians as in all religions. Their reference to God as Jehovah doesn't bother me --- I hear other theologians use that name.

  I'm uncertain about this --- scripture warns us to get out of this evil religion but what about the verse indicating angels will pull the true worshippers out at the end or something. Someone quoted few wks. ago and it was comforting to know.

  Thanks for response about the door to door horror --- hummmm . . . that would be a great title for book "Door to Door Horror." Can't believe you weren't stoned to death for your efforts. Too bad the entire congregation doesn't stand up and demand they follow laws re/pedophiles. Oh, that's right, it's a totalitarian environ. Unbelievable!

  this month is a month of testing for jehovah's witnesses.

  individually, each must ask himself: to whom are you loyal?

  no doubt in ancient isreal many attended the molech and calf worshiping festivals out of loyalty to the nation, the king, and perhaps in a mistaken belief to "jehovah".

  Hope you are right about division among the witnesses and that the "conscious class" inside halls will have a great impact on the others. Just going on what I hear (on the outside) along w/some witnesses' attitude toward those who received higher education in the past. It's not good and a lot of envy but that goes on no matter.

  They focus on what spews out of their leaders' mouths but surely there's those who are diligently striving to serve God over their ruling despots and that's admirable.

  I've tried to discuss blood issue w/a couple of highly educated witnesses and realized the brainwashing runs deep in their heads so best to drop the matter at that time. Difficult to discuss anything for the most part when they're satisfied w/their religion.

  mind blown -- good info and I'm sure that's true but I didn't word that right --- I was asking legal if this might be the end of their freedom to go around and knock in general -- regardless of these pedophiles. Stupid question, I know.

  I don't know if they allow these pedos to go door to door -- if they are that's serious. I assumed they were going door to door from comments on board but don't know.

  Ooops -- let me retract my comment just above Balaamsass' about being "finished w/this topic" -- I meant about our comments constituting involvement in criminal activity -- just have to say Balaamsaas your comment made me laugh --- that's good " . . . a true come to Jesus experience this year". Best laugh I've had today. Love it.

  Guess I'm too negative to believe it will bring the end of child molestation/abuse and Watchtower will have the law to worry about.

  Asked legal eagles whether this pedophile news would effect W/tower's right to go door-to-door but (ok, I was being delusional) was laughed and told the same ole rhetoric ad nauseum bla bla --- this country was founded on religious freedom. I've asked them not to say that phrase to me for my sanity. I don't mind them knocking on doors and I appreciate religious freedom but at the cost of criminals having access to children. Anyway.

  144001 -- read my comment regarding our comments on the other "Anonymous" topic. I'm finished w/this topic unless someone starts one about forming a group to litigate against W/Tower and I don't think we are allowed to form anything like that here ---

  Everyone can consult their own legal counsel re/their comments about Anonymous.

  i wanted to consolidate a lot of the information about the attack of anonymous against the watchtower society.

  if you disagree with the tactics of anonymous, that's fine.

  this information may still be useful as the public is made more aware of the the dangerous policies of the watchtower society.

  thanks, blindnomore. Don't you imagine this has already been done w/all the various anti-watchtower info websites --- Silentlambs, Barbara Andersons.

  I've been asking lawyers about this 'Anonymous' activity and whether our comments/statements (pro or adverse) on this board in any way constitutes criminal activity --- and whether we'd be considered part of anything illegal --- they're telling me we are entitled to our opinions (and that's all they are --- opinions) just as long as we're not involved in any illegal activity (hacking in this instance) w/Anonymous.

  I do understand Terry and 144001's knowledge/research about Anonymous and agree it isn't the right road for justice/protection of children.
