That's funny - I've never heard of those sites! I sure like the idea and gave up hope moons ago but certainly doubt there will be any mass exodus. If only - but life has certainly been full of shock lately.

If the COVID 19 returns - hopefully the heat will knock it down until next winter - how do we resume life again returning to hair stylists, etc? Going the 'homeless' look isn't especially attractive. Close proximity can't be avoided and vaccine could take a yr to yr and half away for controlled trials, etc.

by RubaDub inlet me think of a few advantages to having mexico do more manufacturing for us:.
- low cost labor .
- just drive around or jump over the wall to see family and friends.

Obviously, our politicians preferred selling us out to China for personal mega bucks vs. salsa and chips from Mexico. Research Diane Feinstein, among many others. They don't become multi millionaires just collecting the gov't salary - lots of creativity.

No-Sew Covid-19 Face-Mask using Shop Towel
by Simon innow that the medical advice seem to be coming round to actually giving honest advice, it's good to have a mask.
weeks wasted and god knows how many infected that didn't need to be, but now there's no excuse for not wearing one ... other than you may not have any.. you can make them of course, if you have a sewing machine.
but even if you don't, you can make one using the blue shop-towel, a couple of elastic bands and a stapler.

Thanks for the videos - I watched the 'Blue Shop Towel' one and somewhere in my garage or storages I have a box - use them for oil painting. They are wonderful. I'd watched a similar video but it used fabric with a strip of 100% cotton placed inside to avoid skin irritation. I ordered all the necessary items for the Blue Shop Towel masks to spare me from searching and dust right now. Pollens are horrendous here now so I might rock a mask all day.
Love the red photo - fashion forward! I haven't watched both videos but would prefer a red one but at this point I'll take whatever. From texts/emails I think women are going to need matching head bananas to cover their unkempt hair roots - it's a crisis.
LHG - I can't stand those normal masks - I don't even know what I have but use them when spraying paint. I sprayed the inside out with an alcohol mist. Until my supplies arrive I'm going to have to wear it plus a scarf or a bandana over my face. Is this for real! I've almost asphyxiated myself spraying disinfectants - continually. I keep fresh air flowing but this is too much. Then I drive and pick up food which is starting to rattle me. Shrinks are going to be the big biz with 40% of Americans neurotic and alcohol sales increasing 50%!

My Girlfriend’s Beautiful Scottish Terrier Died Yesterday 😥
by minimus inmia was almost 8 and she was the sweetest dog who was my girlfriend’s constant companion.
she had a wonderful disposition and was just a source of joy to everyone who would meet her.. she was brought to the vet on thursday and seemed to have digestive issues.
the vet gave her medicine and said it would make her sleepy.

latest status is that it's serious, probably isn't going to be contained and most large companies are making contingency plans, cancelling large events etc... which i don't think would happen if it was just people being alarmist.
the incubation period means it may have already spread further and infected many more people than are currently known, so expect jumps in the numbers over the coming days and weeks.. tracking.

Now, the state governor isn't allowing married couples/significant others to ride together in golf carts - one of them has to walk. Previous week's email indicated married couples were allowed to ride together in golf cart. Looks like they're really trying to enforce the 6 ft. rule.

i'm day six of isolation, confirmed to have coronavirus.
i have been seeing very sick cv positive patients over the last month in my a&e role (emergency physician) it was inevitable i would contract it.. just wanted to give some symptom and treatment advice, it's anecdotal but may help.. started as sore throat and headache, then croaky voice, then dry cough, then episodic transient fevers, all this over the first few days.
