LHG - Forgot my fave and it's one of the best soaps I've found (seems to be out of stock these days because it says 'Hand Soap' on the front) is the Dawn Ultra Antibacterial Hand Soap (the Green Apple one). Some use it for dishwashing liquid soap (not in dishwasher, of course). It's the best in my opinion but I always keep good ole Dial around - antibacterial types, only.

Covid-19 (Coronavirus) - Status Update Thread
by Simon inthis topic is to focus on status updates & advice (no opinion or politics please).. status.
latest status is that it's serious, probably isn't going to be contained and most large companies are making contingency plans, cancelling large events etc... which i don't think would happen if it was just people being alarmist.
the incubation period means it may have already spread further and infected many more people than are currently known, so expect jumps in the numbers over the coming days and weeks.. tracking.

I think Limbaugh is out and out wrong on this
by JimmyYoung ini listen to rush most days for entertainment.
i agree with him on some issues and disagree on others.
but today he said something i believe is an out and out lie.

I've only heard him speak on news clips but know many liberals who all have views like on here so it's a political preference more than anything else. I've heard he's changed a few viewpoints.

I've heard couple doctors say it's hit and miss with vaccines for yearly flus. They're not down to a science like for diseases as polio, small pox, etc., etc., unfortunately. They might help one not have such a severe case - they're always saying the flu vaccine was ineffective this yr. etc., but the elderly should not miss getting one in my opinion.

nowwhat: I agree and have only listened to them few times, unfortunately. Kim stated they know there's more properties that have been sold but they don't have the info. Kim/Mikey and analysts (and others worldwide) have done one time-consuming, excellent, job. Looks like ole WT receives the selling price they demand on the spread sheets but I didn't spend much time only searching for sales in certain cities.
I'd like to know how many of the new, (glued together), commercial holes of worship WT has constructed in US. We know they are selling -- what are they doing with the funds?! Could they be leasing from a third-party landlord. The new commercial bldg. here is not built on inexpensive land compared to the out-dated ones that had weak demographics. They obviously realize they need to be in the public square to attract members. Kim/Mikey indicated as far as they know WT has not reinvested. Lots of ways to make money off of 2.5 billion chunk change in your sock unless they are choked by the lawsuits, governments, lack of members. Darn secret tax free orgs need to be transparent -- unreal the protective laws they duck under.

Did WT use monies received from the 2.5 billion to develop Warwick - will these funds go toward developing the media center or is this another ponzi scheme on the JWs? Per video linked by Kim & Mike they still have 2,790 properties around the world designated to sell - they've already sold 1,518 and the 'Held for Sale' list indicated a total of 4,308.
Very interesting - it's obvious Mike & Kim and analysts have been very busy plus halls/properties not all on the list - I checked couple of places that halls may have been sold and found nothing listed on the info.
Great topic - thx again to 'Newly Enlightened' (Kim & Mike) for the video/info.

That's interesting re/your knowledge. I use to read the Watchtower and look up every scripture. I could spout off scriptures but learned the most listening to ministers on TV/car radio (for few weeks) immediately after I left the cult.

by Simon insome light entertainment ... there are apparently 39 beatles songs hidden in the picture, but depending on how to interpret some of them you may come up with more.. please post one each, to give everyone a go, and describe where the song is in the picture (so it's not just coming up with a list of beatles songs).
also, check for existing answers - i'll post summaries to show the ones already identified.. .

USAF Thunderbirds
by LV101 inso awesome - the usaf thunderbirds just did a fly over the las vegas valley starting at nellis air force base all the way to boulder dam, boulder city, nv, in tribute and honoring the covid 19 healthcare workers/responders.
so amazing - we were in the backyard and could hear the engines long before any sight of them.
they flew over summerlin, spring valley - over couple hospitals and back over my house - circling on to the las vegas strip, henderson then boulder dam - back to nellis.

Hahahahah - "Gibson Thunderbird." I know what that is -- my Dad was a tad off in his 80s and I had to take him to the guitar shop too many times. Were they the ones in the locked room - whatever, he bought them and I'd never heard of them.

Yes, Jeff - I did see the Blue Angels - yrs. ago in so cal. I don't think they've ever done a fly over here like today but it wasn't an air show where they do all that scary-sky flying.
Seattle - what a great city. My friend has a beautiful condo (in high-rise) downtown and I was going to check them out about the time all the 'homeless' street people news scared me away. California is enough for me to deal with right now. I even love the rain in Seattle and all the fresh seafood - the Nordstrom store and being able to walk around. I really love that city across the water - Bainsbridge. I like the cold weather, too.
