I've never received so many JW letters as via the USPS past few yrs -- receiving couple mailings per yr. before Covid. I can't stand buying all the stamps as it is can't imagine - must cut down on the JWs monthly donations.

can't imagine anyone is really enjoying letter writing still or that it's remotely effective.
i'm a little shocked that we haven't resumed yet but i guess that's what happens when the org is run by a bunch of old people (ie high risk for covid) and a bunch of other sheltered germaphobes.

Which Bible Translation.....

out of the numerous translations i've had/used, i can honestly state that the 2001 translation is head & shoulders above all the others i've ever consulted, imo.
the publishers even invite suggestions/corrections to be submitted.

You run four bakeries? WOW - hard work and need conscientious, ethical, employees. What kind of bakery? Hard to find good one here in the desert - best on the strip and one at the Bellagio that has the greatest cake ever. The frosting looks like it's level 5 smooth wall plaster - beautiful decor like the modern-day wedding cakes.

Sea B - very interesting and appreciate. A lot for my brain to take in not having read anything biblical in decades (running from the JWs) other than a few one liners here from you, Vanden, Slimboyfat (i think but I'm not on here much w/all the covid alternative news). I can imagine how exhausting these posts are for Fisherman/Disillusioned/yourself. Attended funeral couple wks ago and heard statement or 2 re/the deceased's state - quite different from WT.
Attended way too many funerals lately - 😥.
Disillusioned - I've heard church-goers (Methodists) say the Bible is contradictory after one of their speed-course studies. Not comforting to hear yet hounded regularly to attend church's special events = anything crazy to get people there - one of our family member's Grandmother/oh my. Nice church.

Biahi - what a horrific cult. Makes me sick and this info should be shouted out on every social media outlet throughout the universe. How many times have we heard/read about these accounts! The filthy cult can't get away with hiding facts any longer.
I want to know how much money they were paid by the feds shoving their adherents to be inoculated/injected. Seems to be stated as fact on alternative media - monetary incentives might be hype.
