Call your state bar association for attorney referrals and check w/friends, co-workers, etc. Sounds like your children are too young to be questioned re/custody preferences -- not sure of your son's age but a judge isn't going to let a pre-teen or child make critical decisions. Family law courts even set up online communication re/childrens' visitation schedules -- anything important to oversee difficult cases. All a judge is concerned about is the welfare/livelihood of the children.

RNS - find a very good family law attorney and protect your children. Children need to have supervision/protection of a parent or guardian at all times and not camping outside with other children in caravans. Might need a court-appointed family therapist to advise re/WT activities. I think most states have joint custody provisions.

Big hitter law firms aren't cheap ($200/hr for young, inexperienced paralegal!!) and I'm sure they're paying serious bucks for their A-Teams -- qualified lawyers in a big metropolitan city like NY will likely be $1,000 an hour or more. No reputable, secular, law firm, is going to risk being sued by a money-hungry cult, for malpractice due to schlock work and tarnish their reputation and do nothing for them. Perhaps the 'uneducated' ruling powers didn't quite understand what retainers cover. Hope they get turned down by the great ones (won't happen), need more secular firms than ever and wither on the vine begging for more in-house slaves. -

Retirement savings
by TxNVSue2023 inwhat's the current jw stance on retirement savings?
i know it changed.
pre1975 it was an attitude of "don't worry about retirement, this system is ending soon".

I hear ya, Longy. Hard to imagine young parents/young girls fall for the cult's slavery plan. I can't tell you how many young girls we know that married, (after college/during), divorced shortly thereafter and have remained single - younger males, also. Some we know have never married or broke off the relationship weeks before the wedding. One trip all the way to Boston for a big wedding and they called it off -- that was interesting 😂. They're too busy working and traveling w/their jobs/friends - never had children.
I warn one of my younger-male family members to cool the jets from here on out - no need to pay divorce lawyers thousands of dollars and deal with settlements again. I know - I'm terrible but he laughs/agrees. These young bucks have girls from all angles hitting on them -- girls have to be twice as cautious.
Amazing the mind control in cults -- very sad. Your daddy and mama did a great job!

Longy - thank your parents and those in society who were adamant about education. My husband has always warned the young girls in our family and their friends they must have an education and know how to support themselves regardless of whether they marry or remain single. Husbands die, leave, have affairs, etc., and they could be out on the streets -- critical they save, invest and focus on career to fall back on if necessary.

Heartwrenching -- poor girl. Who in the world could put a crazy cult before their daughter/son! I'd rather burn in hell.
EasyPrompt - where are they going?! Won't be any time soon if ever.

TC: Trump followed his advisors -- Fauci, Birx, et. al. I'm not undermining this mess nor am I promoting him -- but you're only reporting one side of political facts.
They succeeded in overthrowing him plus initiated the Deagle Depopulation earlier than previously scheduled -- it's a win-win for the cabal.

Could this be the end of JWs? What are the consequences if it is?
by Teddnzo inmultiple very serious allegations against tony and then huge efforts to remove him from all pictures and videos, have to admit it doesn’t look good.. once the pennsylvania investigation becomes public knowledge and front page news it will be very very hard for 8 million pimis.. is it possible that this could be the largest problem the branch has ever faced?
larger than 1975, the overlapping generations or any other ‘test of faith’.
many will feel heartbroken and betrayed.

I agree Rivergang but low convention attendances reveal some hope. The 'Boomers' might be dying/disabled sooner than expected due to forced inoculations by the cult.😥
They're dirt rich like farmers (real estate) and have track record of surviving but many changes shaking up the world now.
