  Big JW mutiny in the Vancouver BC area!!

  well this year'a assembly is over and the dubs in the vancouver bc area are mad at the gb.

  about 100.000 dubs had to travel all the way to kamloops bc about a 300 mile drive one way!!.

  i have heard that that each dub had to shell out $500 bucks and more for food and lodging just to hear some druel about scolio.

  the jw wife recently decided to start aux-pio and i need the available pdf's of wt-se's so that i can keep up with her thirst for kool-aid.

  when she told me of her decision i told her i knew she'd head that way, because the se's guided her to it.

Though many in our Bookstudy who were studying for the first time found it tough in the start, our book study overseer made it very easy. He made us a chart and as we covered the chapters and the visions we added the visions on the chart. Every week we would review the visions from the start and by the end we were all experts in remembering each of the visions and what they meant.   the first sentence reads:"disfellowshipping can be extremely punitive.".

  it is an article that supposedly reads that the punishment to a df'd person goes so far as to 'include hatred' of such persons-not just their behavior.

  when people talk about god and creation, they always think of beautiful things, like roses and hummingbirds.

  but i also think of a little african boy sitting on a river bank in west africa with a worm eating its way through his eyeball, which will make him blind in the next few years.

  now if you are telling me that god created the rose and the hummingbird, presumably he also created this thing in his eye.

  I see the image of an african women holding her small child, flies landing on them, looking ematiated and near death, that I saw on tv and asking is God ok with that just because he "has" to allow satan to rule man a little longer so that no one can condemn him (god) for acting against him (satan) before he can be fully shown to be the loser.

  here is a question about noah and his ark building project.. building an ark would be a full time job!

  and not just building it, the materials that made up the ark had to be collected and fashioned, they just weren't laying about!..

  ok, but what about the food, housing and clothing for noah and his family?

  my mother knows i have lots of issues with the org.

  yet she still forwards me this crap as "encouragement".

  i love my mother, but i wish i could get through to her that jw's aren't any more special to god than anyone else.

  I have never thought of it this way for some reason. But if Jehovah examines our heart and we are seen by him as diserving of life in contrast to others who are not, does this mean that we are actually earning, by virtue of something we have done to have that "kind" of heart, the life he grants to us???
